I hope I am wrong, but I just don't see the FO spending any more money...I love the Camby acquisition...but his contract with bonus clauses that count against the cap are confusing to analyze...knowing DTS, he will probably consider worst case scenario, which makes camby's contract actually $10-11 mil per season, if bonuses met...(camby earned an extra $2mil last year for a games played bonus)
and I know for a FACT that there is no chance in hell DTS will approve spending our MLE...sure, it's luxury tax exempt, but that's still money out of DTS' pocket....
Hope I'm wrong and DTS just makes me look stupid by approving a Ron Artest deal, or a sign and trade of TT for Luol Deng or something...but for now, i'm happy with the team...i was depressed...if we get artest or luol, i would be ECSTATIC...we'll jus have to wait and see. |

| Sterling has spent the MLE before (Tim Thomas) so it's not unprecendented. |

| Nice....hope we do it again then...but why did we need to spend MLE? don't we have to be over the cap to be qualified to spend it?? were we over the cap at some point? |

| Yes, the summer we spent our cap space on Cat. The next year, we had no cap, so we were allowed the MLE (bookmarked for Radmanovich, spent on Thmoas) |

| ^^I think if we spend $2 more mil we reach the cap, then we would have the MLE to spend. I would be very surprised and disappointed if the Clippers choose not to spend the MLE $. |

| How about our bi-annual exception? We can use that to sign a vet like Tyronn Lue. |

| i am a little torn. I wish we got josh smith instead. But i read somewhere someone say he takes the run out. Camby played run and gun in denver. Good pick and roll player. BUt 9 points agame. Now your forcing younger players to step up. Unless the clippers have something up there sleeve i would give them a d- this off season. And they have 3 mill to spend not 2. I guess there maybe going to make a play at redd or try and get a younger 2 guard. I say redd because now they could give away tt and cat. |

| Q ross is still on our books we could sign him back and go over the cap. Any player that has not been renounced can be signed again. Then you have about 15 mil to spend before you hit luxury |

QRoss turned down 1.5M during early discussions. I have no links though...
QRoss for $2M would be okay, especially if we turn around and use the MLE (we can always trade QRoss to the Suns because they like him). |
