| If we resign Q Ross we would have a great defensive team. Imagine if we need to get stop at the end of the game Camby/Kaman/Ross and whoever else in the 1 and 2 spot |

| Davis isn't horrbile either on defense. He's not a lcokdown guy, but he uses his size and speed well to keep his man in front of him and he gets steals too. |

| Yeah that true. I was just trying to focus on those three. I just hope thorton can improve on his defense. Last year he look like a matador at times, letting people get around him. |

NOOOOOOOOOO...please don't re-sign Q-Ross. Dunleavy's love affair with him will only take minutes away from Thornton and Gordon. Hell-to-the-NO.
Kelenna Azubuike should be our man. |

| I like Q.Ross but if we want a solid perimiter defender that isnt completely useless, we should get Azubuike OR Unrestricted free-agent Yakhouba Diawara from the Nuggets. |

players we have signed
thomas
mobley
camby
davis
kaman
knight
gordon
thorton
k.. that's 8 players.. we have 3 million left of cap space.... assuming we use 1.5 mil to sign jordon and taylor
that's 10 players
player # 11 should be q ross if he accepts a deal or give it to former clippers eric piakowski or livingston
player # 12- MLE- Azebuike, JR smith, childress
so our line up might look like this next season
davis/knight/taylor
mobley/gordon/q ross or livingston
thorton/smith or azubuike or barnes or wright or gomes
camby/thomas
kaman/jordon |

| I hope we do re-sign Q. Last I heard they were far apart in terms of the $, hopefully they can come to terms. We need a guy like him to shutdown quick perimeter guys. |

If they get Q for 1.5 mil and a good SF shooter for 2-2.5 mil...I'd say we're set. Keep Fazekas or Paul Davis as the 14th spot and keep the 15th open. I'd rather have Azibuike than Q for the simple fact that he can score, but Azi is more of a SG while Q can play SF. So, as long as we get that SF scorer (Barnes, Gomes, etc.) we should be alright.
B. Davis / Knight / Taylor
Mobley / Gordon
Thornton / SF ?? / Ross or Azibuike
Camby / Thomas / Powell
Kaman / Jordan / Fazekas or Davis
Thats a good enough lineup to crack the playoffs I think. |
