He has the worst attitude. Could you imagine Artest with Dunleavy. Meggette already wasn't the best of friend with Dunleavy but could you imagine Dunleavy with Artest. Disaster waiting to happen. We don't need him. We are fine with how things are panning out. We got a great team. Don't need someone's lack of respect for anything to ruin our happy family.

I have to be a little biases here because I'm a Lakers fans, and all we need is Artest, and were sure to win a couple of championship. Also like clipps04 point out that Dunleavy won't be able to handle Artest, no team has so far, and the Lakers are taking a gamble because Jackson has coach Rodman which is worst than Artest. They are both some of the league best defensive player so it make perfect sense for Artest to come to the Lakers, if it wasn't for KT huge contracts. However in addition with Jackson past experience, Artest is a close friend of Bryant so the draw is closer to the Lakers. Plus Artest want to be a Lakers, so the Clippers acquiring would ruins both the Lakers and the Clippers. The Clips are beginning a trend of winning championship, having Artest only hurt them. Now with or without Artest, the Lakers are still title contender that if Bynum is healthy and ready to go. Having Artest link the missing piece of the Lakers defense, thus putting all other team out of the picture beside Celtic, which I'm sure they will be back to the final next year base on considering the Eastern Conference.

Despite being a little bit Biases to Clips fan, it make no sense for Artest to be a Clippers, and it would surely ruin this Clippers franchise. In fact I don't think any team is a good fit for Artest beside the Lakers, unless they have Phil Jackson as their coach or Kobe as their player.

Clippers get Smith and Lakers get Artest, and this might very well be the best off season for both these teams, though having (beep) Traitor EB would make the off season for Clippers extremely satisfying.

I agree with you Lakerfan. If anyone could control Artest it would be Jackson. Even got Kobe to settle down, as well as you said Rodman. I'll admit Artest is a great player when not distracted by the drama and when he's focused. If you land him and he stays under control, you'll definitely be a force to be reckoned with, especially with the improving Bynum.

I think that Artest's best fit is with Kobe Jackson and the Lakers...As much as I'd love to have him I don't think it would be a wise move...

Artest has no brain. He would be worst than Zach Randolph. Artest means problems and I'm sick of reading his name in this forum. Every month the same question.

    Artest is the devil!!!

Yeah I agree with Miquel- Artest would bring too much drama that we don't need. Nice player but no thanks.

Eh...yeah. not a big Artest fan; it'd definitely bring bad chemistry or drama like Miquel said into the locker room. If we're trading anybody, it'll probably be for Josh Smith or Okafor.
