If we sign azuibuke...or however you spell it. and keep camby this is what our team would look like
PG: Baron Davis/Brevin Night/Mike Taylor/(maybe livingston or williams?)
SG: Cuttino Mobley/Eric Gordon/Kelenna Azuibuke
SF: Al Thornton/(Azuibuke and Tim Thomas can play the 3 and maybe Q Ross?)
PF: Marcus Camby/DeAndre Jordan(Nick Fazekas?)
C: Chris Kaman/(DeAndre can play 5)
if we supposedly trade Tim Thomas and Cuttino Mobley + a future draft pick for Josh Smith we would look like this.
PG: Baron Davis/Brevin Night/Mike Taylor/(maybe livingston or williams?)
SG: Eric Gordon/Kalenna Azuibuke
SF: Josh Smith/Al Thornton/(maybe Q Ross?)
PF: Marcus Camby/Nick Fazekas
C: Chris Kaman/DeAndre Jordan
and also the possible Camby and 1st round pick for Mr. Josh Smith
PG: Baron Davis/Brevin Night/Mike Taylor/(maybe livingston or williams?)
SG: Cuttino Mobley/Eric Gordon/Kalenna Azuibuke
SF: Josh Smith/Al Thornton
PF: Tim Thomas/Nick Fazekas
C: Chris Kaman/ DeAndre Jordan
which team do you think would be most dominant for the clipper organization and what transactions will be needed to take place to get the line-up
feel free to post your favorite and POSSIBLE line-up and how we can get those players |

| i think i like it in that order 1 is number 1. 2 comes in second and yea. haha but camby call also play the 5 too while caveman takes a breather and put idk jordan or fazekas at 4. we really dont have a back up at 4 huh? we should get a back up pf with the mle. |

| I was a HUGE supporter for going after Josh Smith and when the CLippers traded for Camby I was kinda bummed BUT now that I see their current roster (assuming Azubuike is added) maybe we don't need Josh Smith any more. DOn't get me wrong, if they do swing a trade for Josh Smith (Camby + future 1st rounder) I would be ECSTATIC but even if they don't, I will feel comfortable that we can make a playoff run. |

Tim Thomas, Cat Mobley and a future 2nd rounder for Josh Smith and Josh Childress (both restricted free agents). Gives the hawks some veterans with playoff experience (which they needed against detroit) and flexibility in cap space come 2010. We get two young good players to fill in our lineup. Highly unlikely the Hawks will take Cat "my calf hurts" Mobley and Tim "place any comment about it not being a contract year here" Thomas, especially for two young promising players, but i can dream cant i |

At least you admit you're dreaming at the end of your post...lol..if I were the clippers, I would even reject this proposal, since it's so freakin ridiculous, I'd be sure there was some sort of catch... |

| I know, there should be some rule where anyone named Tim Thomas can only sign 1 year contracts, so that he plays ball every year, rather than one every 5. sigh.... |

| if we resign Paul Davis, we will have good bigs. That kid is good, just never got to play alot bc we were so jammed at the front court, and he got hurt when elton did. Camby, Kaman, Paul Davis, DeAndre (rides the pine all year), Thornton can play the 4 sometimes. I think we should resign Fazekas too, that kid hustles and works his ass off. He is like a Najara that isnt a liablitiy on offense. Tim Thomas can play the 4 when needed also. If we pick up kelenna (if warriors dont match), we should look into this. Im gonna be sad if we dont get Q Ross back though. |

| well, my opinion is that we don't even bother talkin to the paul davis' and fazekas' of the world, and use our MLE to go after a veteran big...did u guys see fazekas miss that wide open breakaway layup in summer league against dallas?? yes, i said "layup" since he was too uncoordinated to dunk off a dribble drive, and missed the layup anyway...LOL |

| however, you also did say summer league in that same sentence lol. Fazekas for a minimum contract to go foul Tim Duncan in the 2nd round of the playoffs next year will be valuable to have. Him fouling Duncan will get us to the Western Conference Finals lol |

| i think we'll do really good with the 1st line-up in the playoffs as long as everyone is healthy and the rookies develop to the league |

| fazekas is way more effective than paul davis!...he shot 56% compared to davis' 37%....i dont know about you but i dont want any big who shoots 37% from the field on our team....thats the kind of percentages you see from a young inexperienced 2, not a 5!.... |

Our actual lineup (in 7 days if GS doesnt match):
PG - Baron Davis / Brevin Knight / Mike Taylor
SG - Cuttino Mobley / Eric Gordon
SF - Al Thornton / Kelenna Azibuike / Marcus Williams
PF - Marcus Camby / Tim thomas / Josh Powell
C - Chris Kaman / DeAndre Jordan / Nick Fazekas
This appears to be our lineup right now. If so, I'd say sign Q-Ross or maybe Dahtay Jones like Miquel was talking about. Then we'll have 15. If we need to drop someone to sign another, just drop Marcus Williams. |
