Repped High Quality Post

All teams who could not trade for a player are not watching the waiver wire today to see who gets dumped. Players waived by today can be added to a teams playoff roster. Teams who are not going anywhere, might waive a veteran player they do not need and do not want to pay. There might be a veteran point guard that becomes available. With the specter of Sam possibly being hurt and out for a couple of weeks, the Clippers would probably be interested. Last night Sam proved once again that he probably needs to be playing important, but limited, minutes at this point. His body just can not handle 35 minutes a night. So watch the waiver wire and hope that we get lucky.

What do you think of point guard Mike James out of Minnesota?

He is a PG, 6'2, but he is 31 years old.

In the 2005-2006 season with Toronto,he averaged 20 points, 5.8 assists, and then signed with Minnesota as a free agent the following year.

This year he is only avg 10.8 points 4assists due to lack of playing time and the great play by rookie Brandon Roy.

He is quick, a veteran, saavy, and would be able to contribute.

Any thoughts?

He is pretty good, but a little lost in Minney, but then again a lot of players are lost there. It is to late to trade for him, so unless he is released on waivers........He is not going to help this season. The only PG waived yesterday that I could find was Jason Hart who was waived by Sacramento. Does anybody know anything about him?
