Yeah pretty much. I like how if you try to make a wild trade it does explain why it does not work and how finacially you could make it work.

LOL I got J.J Reddick for Jason Hart straight up

Then Camby and J.Smith are both 10 million ON THE DOT... ...Trade those 2...

We would look like...

B.Davis Mobley J.Smith Amare Howard

Interesting lol

Repped High Quality Post

If we did that we would have no bench. We would only be playing 5 players a game.

With only two players and the rest d-league players with minimum contracts you put all your hopes on the starting lineup. Hope no one gets injured in that lineup cause then you have a situation like last year. You would have to play your starters for most of the game. They would be exhausted by seasons end. This isn't NBA 2K8. Is it?

I say we trade Kaman and Mobley to the knicks for Curry and marbury. We can't get anyworse. Of the last playoff team only Kaman and Mobley are left kaman tonight on the post game report vented his frustration and said it was the same old Clipper mentality it just can't be shaken off and frankly Mobley might just be on his last wheel.. So to truly start fresh let's get rid of those two old dead waste. Iverson tonight was valuable he showed how important it is to have a player who can create his own shot angainst anyone anytime. I say B-ditty is the man at crunch time but he tends to get injured and we need a second player who has big ballzzz at clutch time. Marbury we all know has that. Curry is big man in the middle we defenitly need that. Marbury's contract should be comming off the books soon and i think he can play the two-guard.. what do you think???????????????????????????? And for all of you who say he's a cancer Kaman didn't do any better tonight with those comments........

cammon guys.....i know kaman said that is just "the usual clippers". but he dosent deserve the bashing he's getting. i mean i got pissed at kaman too but unlike you, i still beleive in him. why are all of you on the "trade kaman" bandwagon? he said some pretty harsh things about the clips but so have we. ive seen more than 20 posts saying "oh, the clips ARE cursed". or "we're playing the usual clippers". so what does that mean?i admit, i too have said it. thats makes us all hippicrits. i hate to say it but its true. kaman criticizes the clippers so we bash him. but we criticize the clips ourselves. kaman is just giving his opinion. i think he deserves that. i dont think we should be on the "trade kaman" bandwagon just yet. give him some time to adjust. and i dont think kaman is the team cancer. everyone on the team LOVES him. he's really a great guy.

lol at Curry doesn't fit our system hell Kaman doesn't fit our system. On top of that what the hell is this system everyone is mentioning WE can't run the fast brake properly even when BD is in and the half-court set isn't doing much good either.

I'm all for getting rid of Cat he is not playing like a guy who deserves to start and his defense has begun to become overrated.

Kaman I'd consider getting rid of his attitude is cancer when Baron tries to drive a new image into the guys heads his dumb@$$ states their play was the same as the old Clippers WTF.

Marbs I'm good for but Curry not so much. Kaman's trade vaule is still pretty high so we probable could get a better deal. Also if Vnce Carter is still up for grabs go get him no All-Star elite players wants the money that much to waste his career on loser team. That is Fact.

Not so fast, yes Kaman is a jack ass and his remarks after the game were unacceptable, but it's only the second game of the season. I would not trade for curry he has less D than kaman and look what he did to Z. Randolf's game last year, he'd probably do the same to Camby (if he ever plays for the clips) Kaman will improve he is just semi-retarded we can work with that. I don't like to think it, but marbury would be an awesome addition if he is bought out we are really weak at the point when Baron is out, the clips look lost. mobley is fine, his contract is more valuable to us than his play so i would not trade him (he can still ball and score i would rather have mobley than are non factor Ricky no D. The main thing is the clips have to play smart, no more bone head plays down the stretch, this one on one isolation has got to stop over and over were seeing this. and tim thomas you bastard good game but what a schmuck play the game don't worry about taunting a player when your head needs to be in the game. Thornton should have got the rock at the end of the game (dunleavy error). lets get ready for a deron-less jazz. Go Clippers

LOL

Yeah this thread started OK but suggesting Curry and Marbury just killed everything.

But a trade proposal doesn't sound too bad to me considering how poorly we're doing (even in our first 2 games.) Our original plan of patience until the 2010 FA class doesn't seem like its going to pan out if we have to go through 2 more seasons of torture. And at the same time, Baron will be going through those years as well and he probably wont be too thrilled 2 years into a 5 year contract with a team that doesn't have hope of winning.

Still way too early for a big trade though.

I think this is just our nightmare appearing to come true. All the experts said our chemistry wouldn't work but most people on this forum believed in our on-paper potential and thought we could pull through.

Maybe the critics weren't so off after all.

Only 2 games. I repeat: 2 games. We can't already be throwing our season to the bin. I believe in this team and I think once our full team will be healthy we will be good. To hear about possible trades when we have only played 2 games scares me. Everybody is embarrassed right now but we shouldn't be cutting heads at this stage of the season. Give them more time...even to Kaman.

Well, I understand Everyone's frustration but just like Miguel said, it is only 2 games.

Here are the facts:

Kaman has been accustomed to a low post , slow grind, feed the post first offense from the start. He doesn't know any other offense since coming out of college. He only knows one coach and one team. Do any of you expect a "slow learner" like Kaman to "get it" in 2 games? He isn't learning plays here, he is adjusting to players tendencies that he hasn't been exposed to. You can't study stuff like that, you learn on the court.

Mobley trade? Kidding right?

Mobley played great yesterday. Mobley is starting material and is needed on this team to balance the old with the new. He is the closest link to the Dunleavy's mindset from a veteran leader's point of view.

Guys, until we have all our players playing for a significant period of time, we can't pass judgment just yet.

Dan, why dont you just trade the team already quitter.

Chemistry doesnt happen overnight and it certainly doesnt help when your star player, director, leader is out.

If he had played the full game.....................I bet this thread would have never started.

Kaman is not the problem, its the lack of a superstar or star that has attitude, wants to win and voices his opinion (Elton never did that) is the problem.

Nobosy seems to want it as much as Boom Dizzle or Thornton.

all we're lacking chemistry.

and mark my words, by the 10th game, all this trade this and trade that crap will be history.

i know stroy that related to the kaman story.....

remember andrew bynum? at first, he wasn't producing. and i dont know if you watched the video on youtube, but heres what kobe said

"f*** that man, we should ship his a$$ out and get jason kidd or something."

if you want video proof that kobe said that look up "kobe bashing on bynum" on youtube.com

but my point is, kobe wanted andrew out bacasue he wasn't probucing.....AT FIRST. but look at bynum now. i bet kobe dosent have a peep to say about bynum now.....

the moral of the story is that we should just wait it out. chris kaman will get into his own groove....

Your right kaman is not total to blame but if we can't get rid of the root of the problem (dumleavy) then let's get rid of the branch.... I just don't understand why kaman get's the ball so much on the high post then he has no clue what to do with the ball. He was good yesterday in the post and passing out but not high on the post when he's subject to exposing the ball and little guards taken away the ball. Also has anyone noticed that it just seems as the Clippers are just lost out there, that on the coach regardless if it's the starter or third string point guard all players should no were to move and expect the ball. Two seasons ago same thing with Brand and Kaman they ran into each other and didn't know what side of the court to stand that' coaching for you. I not mad at Tim Thomas for yesterday's game hell he's a player i definetly want out on the court with seconds left on the clock problem is he's supposed to be the one waiting for the assist to come to him for a last second shot not the won creating it.......

2 games into the season and people are already wanting the coach fired and players traded.

its not like we're proven world champions, we're the LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS!!! some of you dont sound used to these outcomes, dont sound so shocked as if all our players are supposed to play like 10 time all-stars.

Somewhere along the way, probably last year when he had inflated stats with Brand's absence, the coaching staff had the idea that Kaman has offensive skills, and he doesn't. He's not even close. It's fair to say that every hook shot he ever made was an accident. However, he is good at put-backs, free throws, and he is OK on defense. But when they keep giving him the ball in the post and effectively say "Go to work, Kaman", they're just begging us to hate him, because he's way too clumsy. I don't want Kaman traded just yet, but if we keep trying to use him the way we've been using him, my patience is growing thin...

And thank God for that. Bynum only puts out for about 20 games a year, probably less now that he has a contract in the bank.

Bynum also lives off of being spoon fed from his guards. His game looks way better than last year, but last year was all dunks from people making plays for him.

Supposedly Portland is willing to trade some of their young pieces for veterans to solidify the team. Indiana is also willing to make a move. Dunleavy anyone? Daddy would love it.

If we do head for the lottery next year our issue would have to be our bench at the Power Forward spot. I think we should have gotten Josh Smith he's a great scorer and a great defender Elton Brand Version 2.0.
