Does anybody know who is on the Trading block?

We know Evan Turner, Thadeus Young, Spencer Hawes, Omar Asik, Andre Miller, but who else?

Why not? Makes perfect sense to me.

For example, I was thinking that we should trade J.J. Redick for Ray Allen Wink

I'll take Asik, Miller, and Turner. Trade away Hollins, Mullens, Jamison, Turkoglu, Crawford, Collison, Bullock, and one of Barnes/Dudley.

8 man rotation: DJ/Asik Blake/DJ Turner/Dudley Redick/Turner Paul/Miller

Asik won't settle for being a backup center. Wherever he goes, he wants to start. He didn't submit to Dwight, and I don't think any amount of CP3 or Doc's persuasion techniques will get him to take a backup role here.

It really is a shame, because he would solve the backup big problem perfectly.

With that in mind maybe we should game on him anyway. As long as he can produce during his time here we can flip him for another package in this coming offseason. Asik is a highly skilled guy that should net us a good return. The problem is salary. I assume we would need to trade two of our guys to make that trade work.

I'd pass on Asik, would rather trade for Hawes if that is the way we are going. I just don't see us having anything 76ers want. I think all possible ways we get Hawes or an equally talented player is a three team trade. Our assets other than Reggie and the limited picks are only worth something to contenders in my eyes. I don't see us getting any value from Jamal, Barnes, Dudley, and any of our dominant back up bigs.

I don't like Asik's attitude, if he were more about playing ball he could have sky rocketed his trade value and made it easy for himself. I understand being unhappy about the situation, and wanting to be traded. I don't like the pouting, refusing to play and the rest of his antics. He is still getting paid millions to do a job. I didn't want to go to Iraq, but I signed the contract and had to do what I signed up for.

According to Brad Turner: "Clippers didn't sign Darius Morris after his 2nd 10 day contract expired. Morris a free agent. Clips roster at 14". So will we make some trades or sign a free agent now? Doc I believe has something up his sleeve. Mullens has been inactive, so maybe Doc was saving him for a trade lol

This is a deal the front office should be targeting. Switch in Mullens or add him with a future 2nd. Thompson can play with both bigs.

We should be talking to the Lakers. They have 2 C's that sit at the end of the bench and either one would be a massive upgrade over Hollins. I'd rather get Sacre because of the contract and he doesn't bring old Clippers bad vibes with him. But Kaman would be a great fit personnel-wise.

Yeah Kaman would be more likely he is in Mike D dog house of hell Sacre seems to be the guy. Not sure why Kaman has not asked for a buyout yet since he has been vocal about not playing at all. Sacre is a nice scrapper.

Hopefully the Clippers get another 2nd rounder somehow I want this team to load up on big man prospects this draft. Think we can get a vet PG anywhere. If we could grab a Cauley-Stein, Isiah Austin, and a late chance in Patrick Young we could be on to something.

If Sac needed a SF, that Dudley / Thompson deal makes sense, but they have Derrick Williams even after Rudy went down.

Here are the league's worst 3PT shooting teams (percentage wise): 23rd - LA Clippers 24th - Houston Rockets 25th - Orlando Magic 26th - Milwaukee Bucks 27th - Chicago Bulls 28th - Boston Celtics 29th - Philadelphia 76ers 30th - Detroit Pistons

The Clippers and Rockets seem really out of place in this list.

With the Rockets a lot of this Harden, his shot is off this year but he's still taking a lot of them, dragging them down as a team. Lin and Beverly haven't been great either.

For us Dudley and Redick above average, Crawford, Paul and Collison are right around average, but everyone else been has poor; Barnes, Green, Jackson, Morris, Jamison, Bullock, Griffin and Mullens have all missed a lot of them. Jackson and Morris combined to go 1-21, which is why aren't here anymore.

I recently checked and saw that Harden was shooting like 32%, so yea, he's been struggling this year.

For the Clippers, Barnes and Green have struggled, and no one on the team is just killing it from 3PT range to pull the others up a little. Barnes has been better lately though, so hopefully that continues and he averages out to about 34% at least. Jackson and Morris, lol, yea, they didn't really make many.

The goal is to get up to the Spurs 1st in the league 40.6% 3PT shooting level, but that isn't happening this season

Actually he started off slow, but over the last 14 games before he got injured he was shooting 45.5% on 3.1 attempts and he's rounded out to 35.6% on the season, above the team average of 34.4%, so he's certainly helping pull that number up, not bring it down.

Francisco Garcia: $1.27M Next year player option: $1.32M

32 years old

Season: 5.8 / 2.4 / 1.1 / 38.5% FG / 34.2% 3PT / .510 TS% / 20.3 MPG

Thoughts?

Would he shoot better here? Is his fairly decent defense worth it?

He's been very mediocre efficiency wise this season, but he did defend Durant quite well last year and has some length defensively. Still, yes, the C is much more important, so certainly not giving up any assets that could go into that search.

Repped High Quality Post

Dudley and a scrap heap big like Ivan Johnson or Odom is better than Outlaw and Evans, nevermind including Green.

Trading Dudley now would be selling low, he's been hurt all year and playing the worst ball of his career. Trading him now would be getting least possible amount of assets in return for him.

Outlaw has had multiple points in his career where he's played worse than Dudley is now and he hasn't played as well as Dudley did last year in the last 5 years or so.

I get that Dudley has been disappointing, but short sighted reactionary moves for marginal short term improvements aren't really going help anything.
