http://hoopshype.com/rumors.htm "Notwithstanding the above, hearing the Nuggets are indeed looking to make a move before the deadline, along with Cleveland, Detroit and Memphis. NBA.com" we need to get involved in some of these trade talks EDIT: Jared Zwerling: Talking to league insiders, I'm hearing these names are being mentioned in trade talks within league circles (a lot of talk right now): A. Afflalo, T. Ariza, C. Singleton, G. Davis, R. Evans, P. Gasol, T. Gibson, C. Landry, G. Monroe, A. Rivers, T. Sefolosha and G. Vasquez. you guys think we involved in any of these?

Bucks are interested in Eric Gordan.Maybe we can get in on the trade.

Clippers trade Dudley

Clippers get Ekpe Udoh

Bucks trade Mayo and Udoh

Bucks get Gordan

Pelicans trade Gordan

Pelicans get Mayo and Dudley

http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=n8jr6n2

I think each team would do this.Clippers get a back up big who can play the 4 and 5.Udoh isn't anything special but he is an expiring contract so if he plays well we resign him if he doesn't we let him walk.Bucks get Gordan who they want. And Pelicans get more depth at the wing and save some money.

I think if you want monroe we will send CP3 or Blake for him.

Monroe isn't worth nearly that much, not that we would do it even if he was, but we have nothing to offer Detroit for him either. They have much bette options if they want to trade him.

Ekpe Udoh is a bit unimpressive don't you think? I'm not sure he's the guy to give up assets for. He's not a very good finisher, he is actually a very weak defensive rebounder, decent man defender, better as a shot blocker.

I'm not sure his skills really fit this teams needs. We'd want someone who rebounds well on defense and the is a weakness of his, and he's not a good offensive player, and I mean as in not a good role player offensive player.

I think you might be overvaluing Monroe a bit, he has ton of potential. CP3 and Blake have already lived out a ton of potential, in the case of Blake he might just be scraping it. Monroe has a ton of potential and skill, but maybe his worth would just be a bit more than Crawford not close to the range of CP or Blake. Your talking potential All-Star for top three players at their position, for a possible top ten likely top 15 at the same position as Blake.

Monroe would probably be had with a decent 1st and Duds. We don't have that first asset needed, our 1st will more than likely be a late pick (hopefully last).

Anyways, it doesn't matter there is no reason to give Crawford for a 1 year rental. That would put us back in the same situation as with Bled. Maybe if there was a good chance of resigning him, but that would be doubtful.

Anyone think Hawks would do a Dudley and 2nd rounder for Ayon and Carroll trade?Hawks want a player who defends and can shoot the 3.Dudley hasn't been consistent at either this season but has been good at both throughout his career.Even with his struggles I think Dudley still has some value on the trade market. And for us we get a decent back up big and another Matt Barnes basically.

OKC looking for a very cheap shooter maybe can flip Jamison for the Thunder or Dallas first rounder they have this year.

I'd do that in a heart beat Andrew, but if they want a player that can shoot and play D don't see why they would trade Carroll for Duds. Carroll is a good defender, and has been shooting the three at a higher percentage this year than Duds.

I don't see us getting anything for Duds unless we can sneak into someone else's trade. The other thing a tanking team has to be involved, because nobody trying for the playoffs is going to give us a good player for Duds and a second.

Maybe something like this:

I'd almost do a 1st for that move because it covers both of our glaring issues without giving up multiple players and messing with chemistry. Theoretically our 1st round pick in 2017 would be worth very little. $hit happens but you can't be worried about a draft 3 years from now when you're trying to win a chip in 3 months.

I believe you're under valuing Faried, he's Denver best player. Great bang for the buck. If Denver's actually thinking about trading him, they should ask for a lot.

I think you haven't been watching Denver this year, Ty Lawson has been their best player by far, and Next to him it's been JJ. Hickson, with Foye, Wilson Chandler and Faried being 2nd, 3d 4th fiddle at times. He's not played with the Same Consistent fire every night that made him the Special Player he was last year. Kinda Why Denver is looking to deal him as his asking price will be pretty steep based off past performance and given the way he's played this year they probably don't want to pay him over 10 million.

Yep, Ty Lawson has really filled that scoring role that was left gallo. Faried has regressed on both offense and defense. I think he is too one dimensional (high energy) and coaches have figured out how to neutralize that.

Back to the clippers thread, if we can get Bullock more minutes and have Dudley playing off the bench going forward, I think we can handle the SF position if we get a legit backup big. I just don't think we can rely on Hollins long term.

Wizards want Andre Miller and Knicks want to try and get the Nuggets to do a Shump for Faried trade.Maybe we can get in these trades to help move some pieces and get us back a starting SF in the process. It's a four team trade which are rare but I think each team get what they want. Clippers trade Dudley,Barnes, and future 2nd round pick Clippers get Wilson Chandler,Al Harrington, and Cole Aldrich Knicks trade Shump,Pablo Prigioni, and Aldrich Knicks get Faried and Barnes Nuggets trade Faried,Andre Miller, and Wilson Chandler Nuggets get Trevor Ariza,Shump, and Pablo Prigioni Wizards trade Ariza and Harrington Wizards get Miller,Dudley, and Clippers 2nd rounder http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=onoob8q

For a 4-team trade it's pretty fair but I'd say Denver needs to get the pick instead of Wiz.

I'd honestly think about giving the Wiz and Nuggets a 2nd rounder if it means getting back Chandler. He is a bit injury prone but when healthy he is the perfect SF for this team imo.He can really score and is an underrated defender.I like Ariza but would rather have Chandler because I think he fits the team better and has a better contract.

I'd be happy grabbing Ivan and trading for Ariza. I think ilyasova is unrealistic, he makes a lot of money, and we're hard capped this season.

The swap is so stupid. Why would we trade the better, younger and less paid player? Its a downgrade everywhere.

I wouldn't, I don't see how he helps us, he's too small and not good enough on Defense. He's a good player no doubt, but he's also a Locker Room Cancer, and given the way things were last year, they don't need that. I'd rather have Brandon Bass, or Lavoy Allen, both Similar type players, but better Defenders to go along with solid Offensive players, and good Locker Room Guy's.

I'd love to have Ariza as well, as long as it doesn't cost too much, as for ilyasova, I'd love to have him as well, but I don't think we could be able to pull off a deal for him, I view him a a Starter not a bench player, and I have no doubt the Bucks would Trade him with that in mind. Plus I would give up a 1st rounder for anybody, not this year at least, the Draft is too deep to do it.

Because we have JJ at the shooting guard spot. We need a opposite player to what JJ is. A long athletic defender at the small forward spot. Having two guys in our wing spots who have lateral quickness issues and that are not long defenders is a huge area of concern for me.

Collison is our best trading chip. Toronto does have some players of interest. A three team trade with a team in need of a point guard would be our best shot. Include Barnes or Dudley in the trade. We get back a point guard who can hold the fort for 15 minutes while Paul gets a break. Plus we get a quality small forward. I think Jazz, Kings,Lakers and Bobcats would jump at the idea of getting Collison. We won't win a title if Chris gets hurt and Collison has to start, so why not trade him now while he has high trade value.

Icecoldclipper

Would kill bench production and make us one dimensional like we were last year and with Mo. Bledsoe wasn't looked at as a scorer and things became Jamal or bust with the second unit like it was with Mo I think it shows best that we flourished when we had two guys that could get hot in Mo and Nick Young. Collison gives us that needed extra spark in case Crawford goes cold and we need more scoring in small ball.
