Repped High Quality Post

Will Conroy's enthusiasm on the floor and on the bench could just be what the Clippers need! They haven't seemed like a spirited bunch to me this year, but after seeing Conroy's high fives & belly bumps during time outs & great plays over the past two games, the winds could be a changin'.

I hope they keep this guy around! He might not be scoring, but he's dishin' & keeping the game lively.

GO WILL!

Oh yeah he's a great cheerleader over there at the sidelines Smile. It seems that he has a great attitude and has good PG skills and instincts. Eventually he's gonna have to shoot, and then we'll really see what he's made out of. If he doesn't stick around with the Clippers next season he'll probably have a good chance making another team.

Remember a few years back when we had Mike Batiste play really hard and really well for us in Training Camp. Well we didnt sign him and Memphis did. He never lasted long there, but I always wondered what happened to him. Hopefully Conroy gets a spot like Singleton did and doesnt get left out like Batiste did.

Looks like Batiste is playing over in Europe in Greece and doing pretty well averaging 14 and 7 only 24 minutes a game:

Maybe Will Conroy will be for the Clippers what Ronny Turiaf is for the Lakers. Every team can use a player like that to remind them to lighten up and have fun playing together. I watched the movie "The Cinderella Man" last night. If you have never it, or even if you have seen, go see it again. After breaking his hand, Braddock was finished as a boxer. He, his wife, and little children were broke and on the soup lines during the depression. But he accidently got another chance to box again. Against all odds, he won, then he won again, and again. And then all of the sudden he was fighting to be Heavyweight champion of the world against Max Baer who was supposed to destroy him. But late in the fight, when he was against the ropes, looking like he was finished, he rose up, stood strong, and beat Max Bear to become the Champion. So no matter how bad it ever looks, there is always that chance to reach another milestone. You just have to reach out and grab that chance. The Clippers may have looked like they were on the soup lines recently. Will they rise up? Can they dig deep? Can they make a Run? The Clipper Nation says that they can.

Sorry folks, Will Conroy was let go today as the Clippers brought in 6yr vetran Jason Hart who was waived by Sacramento.

Hopefully he has some leadership through his years of experience.

Doh- that sucks for Will. At least he would be paid for the entire 10 days. I think this means that Sam is not far from returning. And yeah let's see what Jason Hart can bring.

Actually, we only have one loose roster spot that has been filled with whomever was signed to a 10 day contract at the moment. Now that Jason Hart is signed for the remainder of the season, we do not have any spots open. If somebody else gets hurt, like Kaman or Brand for example, I wonder how we would be able to bring a BIG to compensate. Having Rebraca unavailable and taking one roster spot does not help. We would have to go with Williams and Davis. We are vulnerable to injuries because Coach has not developed his bench or just does not believe in them. I believe in Ewing, and with playing time I think he will be a fine player. I am not sure yet that Hart is going to actually be better than Ewing. We will see.
