Go read the feature article I just wrote about Clipper games being blacked out in certain areas that have a KTLA feed. If you have a KTLA feed to your cable company, but find that you get KTLA news and other programming, but do not get the Clippers games, we need to hear from you. Tell us where you live and who your cable company is and we will forward the info to the Clipper organization and KTLA. So far, KTLA is non-responsive. If they continue to not care, we will at least ask the Clippers not to use KTLA next year. JamFan

That's weird- wonder why they would do that- it might be an NBA rule or something. We all want to hear Ralph and Mike broadcast the game, of course.

What Clipper games are suppose to be shown on KTLA this year? I know KTLA only shows certain games. For instance, instead of showing the Clipper game versus Denver, KTLA had a rerun of Everybody Loves Ramond on :-/

Every game is covered by Fox Sports or KTLA and you can see the schedule by going to the Clippers website (a couple of games are ESPN or TNT). Last year they were divided up on a home vs away basis. This year it just sort of seems random. I know some cable systems do not carry both Fox Sports stations or none at all, and with KTLA blacking out areas surrounding the LA area, there are a lot of fans who will not get to see all the games even though every single one is televised. The Fox sports issue can only be solved by fans screeming at their cable systems to carry those stations. Good Luck with that. But KTLA should only be blacking out CW network programing that is carried by the local station. The feed for everything else, including the Clippers should be carried. So far, no one can tell me why it is not. I need to hear from everyone who did not get to see Saturday nights game and where you are located and the name of your cable system. JamFan

Since KTLA was slow to respond to a solution on the blacked out areas of southern California, I contacted the Clippers organization directly to get help on making sure all of the fans who had KTLA on their cable systems would get all of the Clipper games. I received a response back the Clippers broadcast manager, Jessica Boroquez, who said she would look into the matter. Sponsors who buy advertising for the Clippers broadcast are always concerned about how many households their advertising is reaching. The would be very concerned to find out that several entire counties of SoCal are blacked out. I have not as yet started a campaign to start contacting sponsors because I felt the Clippers would step in and help put pressure on KTLA to do something. JamFan

I've live in San Diego and I have been a HUGE Clipper fan since they were in San Diego. I have been literally pulling my hair out for years and years with the endless black outs and problems getting Clipper games. Everything from cutting in with dog shows half way through the games to cutting off at a certain time and therefore missing half of OT.

Worse, I now work for the local cable company and still can't get all the games dispite paying for League Pass.

This year has been very strange. Some of the Fox games are not being blacked out on league pass so I have been getting games that last year I would not have. Then also, we carry both CW and KTLA. I think some of the games are on the KTLA and others are on CW.

MattThePirate, For those who do not have NBA league pass, they should be able to get the games on Fox or KTLA, not CW. CW is network programming that is carried by KTLA in LA. CW programming is probably carried by one of your local channels in SD and blacked out on your KTLA feed in SD. So if you get a KTLA feed in SD, you should get all programming that KTLA has that is not CW like their news and LA CLIPPER GAMES. But it is not happening. I have contacted KTLA and they are not helpful so I have contacted the Clippers and have been promised help from Jessica Bojorquez, who is the Broadcast Manager for the Clippers. I will forward your concerns on to her and do want to hear from any other fan who is blacked out. JamFan

Don't forward her my concerns. This is the first year I seem to be getting more games than I expected. Razz
