Here is a good link to NBA salaries:

http://www.hoopshype.com/salaries/la_clippers.htm

It shows who's signed for how many years and who has the options.

Best part: Look at the other teams. Most other teams are is not paying over $10 million per year for a has-been that is no longer on the team! LAC is one of the few who doesn't. That's a fiscal opportunity!

Another fiscal opportunity: The clippers just sent me the bill for next year's season tickets ... already. The Donald has to keep the cash flow moving!

Very good salary info and very readable- thanks ether for finding that. Looks like the Clippers already have a full plate for next season even though guys like Singleton, Ewing, and Korolev will be free agents this summer.

Re-sign Singleton. Let Korolev go. Don't you kinda have the feeling like Ewing will go elsewhere?? I do. Depending on who we draft, we probably should keep him if possible. We'll see. I really want to see Singleton here next year. He can be re-signed for still quite a low price and you know he gives it his all when he plays. Those kind of reserves are invaluable.

Those three guys are all unrestricted. I think Singleton and Ewing will get offers. Ewing's offers will be tempting, so we could lose him. And Singleton made some noise this saeson about his lack of playing time, so he may accept another offer. But I hope otherwise.

Korolev probably won't get lucrative offers. But that was the team's strategy: cut him loose and resign him cheap. The risk of losing him is better than paying him the 3rd year rookie contract $ he would otherwise get.

I think that chart may be wrong. I've had the Sports Illustrated salary chart for a while and both Ewing and Singleton are under contract for next season. Singleton is under a team option but I'm sure that the Clippers will pick it up because it's cheap. Here's the link for that one.

Also, I'm thinking that the Clippers might get some extra money next season because the league may grant them an injury exception for Livingston's injury. Because it's so severe and he's going to be out a good length of time, I believe that they could get it. The Bucks got one for Bobby Simmons (which is how they completed the Earl Boykins trade). It probably wouldn't be for too much money but any little bit helps.

What do you think the chances are of the Clippers drafting another 18 year old who has never played against pro level competition? Or even college level competition? Karolev finally got to play a couple of minutes last night and I was reminded that he is still only 19 years old. And he plays like a young kid out there. He doesn't carry himself like a man. Sort of cowers around. The first this thing this kid has got to do is get into the weight room, start carrying his head high, get a serius look on his face, and start being a man on the court. Eye of the Tiger! Not eye of the wimp.

I think they've learnt their lesson with drafting Korolev. But we'll see. Now that we have an actually team to build on, not just a place for free-agents to stop and play a few years...they may be smarter on the draft board. who knows.

Thanks for pointing out the injury exception BB- that will surely help. I like that Mo Williams idea too- but he might ask for a ton of money (like $9 mil/year) so I'm not sure if the Clippers can afford him. And yeah let's all hope we draft better this time and go more mainstream instead of taking a big risk trying to draft someone not many people have heard of.
