Will the Clippers force-feed the Suns their potent inside game or will they fall into the temptation of the run-and-gun style? We'll see tonight how the Clippers fare. The Clippers should have the advantage- a home game + the Suns played last night.

YEAH!!!! What a great win. Only 9 turnovers! They dominated in the paint. Everyone gets involved. I love that. Made the free-throws down the stretch. If it wasnt for the 11 three's made by the suns, this game would have been over earlier. Now to beat a winning Blazers team!!!

The 2nd quarter was excellent. That was the Clippers and Dunlevy at their best. However, I was worried after the 2nd half. The Clippers played the inside again but they looked predictable and out of motion at times. Luckily we had Sam's clutch shooting to lift us up again. That's why we pay him.

Easily the best game the Clippers played so far and yeah the low # of the turnovers definitely helped in slowing the fast-breaking of the Suns. It was nice to see Maggette do well- not only scoring but rebounding too. Mobley was huge down the stretch after bricking his first 8 shot attempts, and how about that ridiculously big-time block by Elton Brand on Kurt Thomas' layup attempt late in the game? Livingston played MUCH better too and had a huge block himself. A great team victory indeed! The only things the Clippers didn't do well were free throw & 3 point shooting- if the Clippers had done decent in those areas too it would've been a blow-out.

If Livingston can average those numbers a year (14 points, 4 rebs, and 9 ast), then this would be a very special season indeed.
And yeah, that block by Eltron Brand was huge -- no matter how you slice it. The sports stations should be ashamed if they didn't show that on highlight replays. |
