| Yup, q ross is gone. wow, i wish we could of resigned him. he might of had a shooting year but all the little things he did for us really helped. I never thought mike dunleavy would ever let go of q ross. oh well so now whos going to be guarding the opponents best player? |

| Yeah I think Cat is the best perimeter defender on the team now, he's getting up there in age but in the past it was Q and Cat guarding the other teams best player. |

Good look to Q. Regardless of offensive talent it's hard for a solid defender to not find a job in the NBA. Too much of a demand for one.
Cat is our best perimeter defender which is a strong reason we need him in our starting 5. Baron is probably our second and I have seen Ricky Davis lock his man down from time to time. Believe Hart isn't to bad.
Thorton and J-Will have improve their defensive game as well. EG is TBD. |

| Well he did good for us. I wish him well in Memphis. But I'm guessing Thornton will take over Q-Ross' defense. |

| I was wondering why it took so long for him to find a job, he has exceptional defense and I feel offensively he will do better than last year. |

I'm sort of nervous actually, seeing him defend the Clippers. Glad to have you back aboard, by the way. Long time no post |

Sorry to see Q go but at the same time his offense was horrible. The guy had a decent game but nothing too seriously for the other teams to worry about. He was a liability on offense. A fabulous defender. Somewhere along the way he thought he was worth more then what MDsr. thought. Good thing he didn't go to a team in our division.

I love Q's blue collar attitude. That's Clipps all the way. Coach loves Q. If there were any way under the sun that Q could have fit in then MDSr would have done it. In otherwords Q's thought of as a net liability when you throw in his asking $. At a cheaper price, we probably would have kept him. Maybe his bad shooting was his baseline not a bad yr. Are we willing to gamble? Who would you give up to get Q?

Q was a pretty good scorer in college, just couldn't keep his midrange game consistent in the NBA. He's had a lot of problems with back spasms the last two seasons too. I wish him the Best of luck in Memphis though.
Unless your playing LAC. |

| Q Ross was terribly to begin with. It's falling in love with 5th string players like Q that keeps the Clippers at the bottom of the league. I guess somebody has to employ these players. There are 384 positions that need to be filled by someone, this is where players like Q Ross are born. Q Ross: a lucky to get a bucket scorer, an oh **** wrong team passer, butter-handed ball handler, nowhere to be found rebounder, and mediocre on a good night defender. Pretty much your typical minimum salary player you hire just to fill space on your team because let's face it, the Clips are pretty much on the bottom of the barrel. It's holding on to these "fan favorite" type players that ensures the Clippers to remain on the bottom forever. Cause we have a full team of them right now. |

| Listen Jack Lemmon, I'm not here to berate anybody. Just you. For holding on to this silly belief that the Clippers will be good. It's like watching a moth attracted to the flame. Which is how every Clippers season has ended (except 04-05) and will continue to end, in flames. The Clippers have already peaked for the rest of their sad pathetic NBA life. They had one decent season where they made it into the second round, only to choke to PHX(a far superior team.) I hope you love the Clippers Jack, cause you got another 40 years before you see them in the playoffs again. Moth to the flame Jack, moth to the flame. |

Don't pay attention to the rantings of this 12 year-old. Is it "choking" to lose to a "superior" team in 7 games? |

| The suns were not a better team. It was coaching that lost that series. MD took livingston out and put daniel ewing in to guard bell on a last second shot. then didnt tell cassell that he didnt have the full 8 seconds to get across half court. Every year phx has trouble with L.A. and it is called choking when the team expected to win looses. |

| It's called choking cause the team that you dipshits think is going to win, blows it. Therefore, the team that didn't choke is the superior team. This is the future not the past mutherfucker. |

I guess my name is Jack Lemmon...man, you learn new stuff everyday.
So my question is: If this guy keeps coming back under a different screen name, and we keep banning him...does he actually become the blueprint for putrid futility that he claims the Clippers to have sworn to?? |

| OK guys, I saved this one for this day because now Q is gone. I spoke last year about a Clipper player who had a hard to believe medical condition but after this news was revealed to me I asked the Clipper source, their team physician at the time, if they really wanted it to be publicized.....and the response came back NO. So I honored the team and the player. But Q is gone. And over the years many have spoken how Q was only a great defensive player. Well there is a reason for that. Q is almost completely blind in one eye. If you think it's easy to shoot a basketball with one eye, put a patch on and go out and try it. It kills your depth perception. In fact, I have known this for a couple of years now and I have always been very surprised at how well Q could shoot under the circumstances. Good player, great man. |

| I liked Ross's workman-like attitude and his D could at times be a thing of beauty (just ask Cheap-shot Melo, or yes, even Baron). But the did could not hit a shot to save his career. I never knew about him being almost blind in one eye. That makes him more admirable, that he can stay alive in the NBA. It makes me wonder how great he could be if he didn't have that knock against him. I wish him luck because he could really thrive in the right circumstances. |

I agree w/ JLemm, I thought it was Q. Michael Smith commented at least once (though vaguely) that Q had some health issues, and once about his vision (but not the extent), so it all seemed to tie together.
JamFan, you showed class in keeping it confidential. |

Damn I guess if Q tried to get laser eye surgery he may not get any offeres at all.
If this is the deal with Q he should make it public and see if he can get some of his vision back through surgery or medical treatments. A Q.Ross that has a jumper becaus he can see is lethal in the NBA. |
