| nvm Espn is finally updated...I like our bigs. Skinner and P.Davis will be great in the rotation with Camby and Kaman. |

just got done watching the game through a live stream on the internet but all i can say is.......wow! the whole team looked great!
couple quick thoughts on the team so far:
- mike taylor really impressed me....he was lightning quick and could very well EARN minutes this year if he continues to keeps himself under control
- the passing as a team was some of the best i've ever seen from this organization
- BD was as good as advertised....could very well be a all star this season
- the chemistry looks good so far....lots of ball movement and the players seem to be enjoying one another
- and lastly just a prediction but doesnt it seem like novak is gonna win us a game this season with one of those corner threes?!! |

Damn we it was said Hart is better as a Clipper it was no joke. As I see it there are still some things to work on. Certainly with our rookies MT has to control his game and Jordan needs to mature his game. Overall their worth the keep.
MT looked like he was going warp ten alos a pesky defender and De'Andre looked like he can defend the best PF/C in the league.
^^^Lmao pretty much brought us back this game with his threes' he is a rotation player may not be big mins but he should see constant mins. lol at him guarding the PG. |

Kaman needs to hit the weights a little or just be more aggressive why is he still doing lay ups around the basket in a clear path run throw it down.
Kaman looked real lost and Baron seemed to get a little frustrated with him later in the game with all the mistakes. |

Man, if Kaman had Jordan's aggression, he'd be unstoppable. |

pressure DEFENSE at its best. ya gotta love the hustle to get in people's faces (just hope it isnt limited to preseason)
- we had tons of points in the paint, but im having difficulty trying to think of any time we scored via post up.
- brian skinner was a stopper tonight. he was EVERYWHERE on the defensive end. 3 steals, 4 blocks - holler.
- ricky d had a pretty good offensive night (lights out from 3 in the first half) but i could see how he can make some fans frustrated. lots of chucks.
- i now understand why mike taylor is not a true PG. 5 TO. dude can find ways to score, but just cant see him being the floor general we need.
- 19 turnovers wont cut it
- timmy out with a groin strain
so far so good.
cant wait to see how gordon fits in. |

I noticed the chemistry as well, Mike Taylor had alot of athletic layups, and on the one he got fouled on our bench went crazy, and someone was dancing and gave him like 4 high fives.
This was overall HUGE, I don't care if it's preseason, this game was actually not preseason. It was the first Clippers' test.. The first time Clippers got to play against a different team with this new team. And this could very well boost their confidence, it doesn't matter if this game wasn't anything big. Just the fact that the first competition they had, and they blew it out, much less being our cotenants, should prove VERY useful for confidence in our new squad. |

-I don't think we are going to be much of a post-up team most likely our bigs will slash to the basket or hit a jumper. Most if not all of our bigs are really pure Defenders who score off put backs or fast breaks (not a bad thing).
-Skinner was a beast he did more than what shows up on a stat sheet guy was a leader and a wall in the inside.
- I really did not see Ricky take any shots that were unnescessary tonight all his shots went in or he threw it up to draw a foul. Ricky looks more and more like a true runner for sixth man of the year award.
-Yeah MT is more of a pure combo guard he has to work on seing the floor better and creating shots for others. I see a future Rajon Rondo in him.
-Lots of TO's..... most by*cough* Kaman *cough* lol
-TT looked fine after he got hurt I see this maybe being a week or two injury. |

I wasn't able to watch the game, but looking at the boxscore, that was awesome!
Mike Taylor props, 20 points, 3 assists, pretty good if you ask me.
One question, where was camby? |

i know this was only a preseason game but looks like we truly DO have depth this year(not something we've had in the past)! i'm excited at the fact that we're going to have 12 men on our nightly roster that can contribute something to the game(most clippers teams might've had 7 guys that can contribute, and another 5 that just take up roster space)....everybody offers something different so it will be interesting to see dunleavy try and find the right combinations of players....hopefully the kinks are worked out by seasons start(though i didnt see many being that was the first game most of those guys played with each other)....one thing i wonder is how deep our nightly rotation will be? is it gonna be 8-9 guys with set roles, or 10+ with everybody contributing a little like tonight?...
good start to the season though!... |

| I wouldn't be surprised if our rotation was simply throw everyone at the other team. Top to bottom we have so many different players who contribute in different ways it's best just to use players for the sitiuations rather than for mins. |

| Guys, I don't care if this is preseason, this game was HUGE. Bigger than a season game in my eyes. Because this is the first time the Clippers got to play as a team against a different one.. So winning this first one will give us a HUGE boost of confidence. |

He just had the flu. So I assume they're being very cautious with him...as they should. |
