The Clippers have a 0.5% chance of landing the top pick, 0.6% for the 2nd pick, and 0.7% for the 3rd pick. That means they have about a 1 in 50 chance in landing a top 3 pick. Let the ping pong balls fly- let's see who represents the Clippers at the lottery tomorrow.

It must be definetelly the Grizzlies moment...At least I hope it!The possibility of watching Oden and Pau playing together just make me crazy...

I didn't realize that the lottery only determines who gets the top three picks based on where the balls drop. After that the remaining order in the draft in solely based on your teams won/loss record. So unless the Clips pull a miracle they will have the 14th pick. Moreover, there is no chance we get Minnesota's pick. They Clips could still trade two first round picks (our and Minney's) to move up or for a veteran, but the receiving team would do so realizing they might have to wait a couple of years to get Minney's pick.

Okay it's over and the Clippers get 14th as expected. Portland won the #1 pick and Seattle is getting #2, while the Hawks get #3. Yikes just what the Clippers don't need- Oden and Durant both in the Pacific conference. Tough tough tough....

I agree with David about the Western Conference. The only good news is that Atlanta moved up to the #3. If they had stayed at #4 (or lower), then their pick would have gone to Phoenix from a previous trade. That's all we need, Phoenix to get another stud at #4 and dominate the Pacific Division forever! Close call.

I'd like the Clippers to hold on to Minny's pick. In 2011, all the protections will expire. By that time Minny will be terrible and the [pick LAC would get will be very high. A long time to wait, but it will be worth it.

Now our job is to find that diamond in the rough. The guy who is going to turn into Kevin Durant. Is it Thaddeus Young, Nick Young, Coryey Brewer, or will we go for a PG like Acie Law? I'm not down with drafting another unproven skinny Euro player. We need somebody who has a strong enough body to make it in the tough NBA. Frail, NO, skinny, NO, unproven NO, strong, YES! We can't afford to make another mistake this time. Oh, I forgot, the great talent evaluator, Coach Dunleavy, may be making the selection. With his track record, maybe they need to hire somebody else to make the call. Like me! He He!

I agree ether- I like the Clippers to hold on to that Minny pick too- it doesn't look like the TWolves organization will be on the upswing anytime soon.

I also agree with Jamfan about not drafting an unproven player. At this point the team needs someone who's been in the fire and has done well under strong competition. And a strong candidate would be Ruuuuuudy! Smile
