Tonight's game should be a big test- not only against a good team but we all remember that the only loss the Clippers have this season is on the road. Utah will be without Kirilenko so the Clippers mustn't be afraid to drive the ball into the paint and attack the Jazz down-low. The Clippers must also win the matchup at PG with Cassell going up against the improved Deron Williams who's averaging 18 points and almost 9 assists a game (!). Since he's only shooting 18% so far from deep, the Clippers need to prevent him from penetrating and give him that shot from deep. If the Clippers are the aggressors and go to the free throw line more and convert then they should prevail.

I agree this is the biggest test so far. I am hoping MD gives Kaman 30+ minutes

We need our Bigs to play good because they have Boozer and Okur

We can't let them run the show

This will be a big test for the Clips. People are talking about them having a hard time winning in Utah (something like 2 wins in the last 20 something games played there). But this is a different Clipper team. I'm looking for a big win tonight for the Clippers. They are ranked number 2 this week in the ESPN ratings, with only the Spurs rated higher. Hopefully next week, we'll be at number 1! Go Clips!

Definately. The Clippers haven't won a away game yet (they only played one), so for them to go into Salt Lake and win one will be no small feat. Of course AK-47 is down, so that'll help a lot. I'm hoping for a breakout game from Kamen tonight.

Crap...what the heck happened? I guess we couldn't hit a shot at the fourth quarter. and they couldnt miss. All those missed free throws caught up with us. When we could have had momentum and a good lead, the missed free throws kept the game close. then we had some sort of meldown. obviously being in wisconsin and having no cable or satellite, i cant watch the games...did anybody watch the game? what the heck happened in the fourth quarter ??

They just played terrible from the end of the third quarter on...way too many jump shots. Utah was without their best shotblocker and yet the Clippers didn't take advantage of it by pounding it inside. Kaman was beyond terrible and Livingston was about the same. The Clippers still have not played one good game this season. They have had good quarters...good halves...but they just are not on track yet. Hopefully, they can get it together soon.

Yeah I watched it- it was pretty bad, and it all seemed to happen once Cassell left the game. The jump shots stopped falling but they kept shooting them. Then it just snowballed- more bad shots and turnovers leading to fast breaks for the Jazz. Q Ross was probably the one Clipper who stayed under control and played his role. Give the Jazz credit- they executed really well and played great D in the 2nd half. The Clippers got a lot of easy baskets in the first half but I didn't remember any in the 2nd half.

I agree- Livingston was really bad too. He missed some open shots that he simply needs to hit, and couldn't penetrate. I didn't remember him posting up or doing anything- he simply wasn't into the game. Hopefully he and Kaman can shake this one off and play better on Sat.

NO NEED TO WORRY Clippers will bounce back. Just a bad game on the road once they get used to playing on the road they will be OK. The Clippers also lost their other road game, but look what happened after that??? Here comes another 5 game WINNING streak!!!

I love the optimism, thats a comforting look at the situation from a fan's standpoint. Do you think we'd be this positive in recent years?? shows that the fans were just waiting for the team to do something right.

WORD JL43, WORD. I'm a young fan but defnitely not a banwagon fan. Most my friends are Faker fans but I stay strong. Some even want to "convert" me, how sad. But at least I'm seeing more RESPECT around for our CLIPS.
