Ok, if you are snoozing and do not know whats going down, turn to your local ESPN channel, and check the beginning of the 2007 NBA Draft. The show begins at 4PM, but the draft actually starts at 4:30 PM Pacific time. The Clippers have the 14th pick. The NBA consensus Mock Draft has the Clippers taking Nick Young, with Acie Law going at 13 to New Orleans. ESPN's Jay Biler says Nick Young will be gone at 13, the Clips take Thaddeus Young at 14, and Acie Law goes at 15. But he is rating best available, not necessarily what teams want. What do you guys think is going to happen?

Hard to say, I have no idea except for the first two picks.

On our Clippers TopBuzz poll Acie Law got the most votes, then Nick Young, closely followed by Rudy Fernandez. We didn't even have Thaddeus Young on our poll, which shows you how wrong we can be sometimes. Some scouts say that is Thaddeus had stayed in school one more year, he might have become a top 5 pick. So do we grab him?

Hmm... I dont know enough about him. I got a question though: How many minutes do teams get between selections ??

Yeah, Durant and Green together. They are definitely rebuilding. They will sign and trade Rashard Lewis. To the Clips?

OMFG, the Bucks just took Yi Jianlian...after just extending Andrew Bogut. Are they planning on trading him?? With Villaneueva and Bogut up front, where does this guy fit in?? The Bucks do get trade happy on draft day, so maybe that's what's gonna happen...otherwise they are being idiodic again...hehe, sucks to be a Bucks fan.

Yi and his people are ticked off. They could go back to China and bluff that they will not sign unless they trade him

What Dunleavy explained on the radio a day or two ago when he was talking about what he needs in his roster which player does what he is talking about?

Yeah, Noah will be a great team mate and an energy guy, but you heard the commentators say he doesn't have any offensive skills, unless he is real close to the basket. He went to high as far as I am concerned. Ok with me, our guys are still on the board. Nick, Thaddeus, Acie, who will it be?

He was talking about the need at PG, but now we're hearing that they may well draft based upon best potential.

Whoops there goes Acie Law to Atlanta at #11!

Okay since Law is gone at #11 that may well mean we'll get either of the two Youngs, Javaris, or Stuckey.

We are going to have a chance to take one of two players that were suppose to go higher but have dropped because of surprise picks. I don't know if we can pass on Al Thorton if he is still on the board.

Yeah and so is Al Thornton- wow decisions decisions- lots of choices. Rumor has it that the Hornets like Nick Young so they well take him here but with Thornton and Wright available, who knows???

I don't think we'll get Nick Young because the New Orleans Hornets will draft him but if he's available at 14 we'll be lucky if we do.

I'd pass on Thornton...there's good enough Guards waiting for us to pick them.

It leaves lots of questions who will we pick even though what we needed that can fill the holes had been swept away. We'll figure out somethin I think Stuckley should be at 14 or Young

I'd bet that Elgin wants to go for Thornton Smile. He has an affinity to drafting athletic big men. Dunleavy probably wants a wing player or a point guard, however. Whew here we go only 2 minutes left!

I hope Nick Young...cuz someday soon Mobley will need a replacement, and we already talk about Mobley needing to come off the bench.

DAMN...Sorry I just dont get it....I was so excited to get a good guard like Law, Young, Stuckey, Crittenton, Fernandez...and instead we get a big man. #14 pick is gonna be a backup??? I think we plan on keeping Brand...so why get a backup at #14??? C'mon...guys explain this to me!! LOL

well at least we can resign Hart or go for Boykins we'll see when we hit the free agent market. It says he needs to improve the ball handling he definitely needs to train hard and do consistent in the summer league expectations. They like expectations and gambling on players we'll see how well he does in the summer league.
