The Clippers take on Allen Iverson, Chris Webber, Andre Igoudala and company tonight at the Staples Center. The Clippers have had a long layoff since since their disappointing loss at Utah on Tuesday, so guys may be a little out of sync. The Sixers, on the other hand, played last night and lost to the Phoenix Suns, so they could be a little tired. Let's see which team will prevail.

Here's hoping for a big game from Kamen this time around. I think Quinton Ross's or Livingston's D on Iverson will be the deciding factor of the game.

Ok...these ugly wins are getting old now. It's nice that the Clippers are finding a way to win even when they're not playing well, but this has got to stop. They need to get back to running their offense the way it's suppose to be run...inside - out! They have two big post players in Elton Brand and Chris Kaman, yet they insist on firing it up from the outside, trying to go one-on-one, or trying to exploit their guard matchups too much. They need to pound the ball inside and let Brand and Kaman go to work. If the opponents decide to double them, pass the ball out and you'll have the open shot. When the Clippers are playing bad, all you have to look at is their lack of ball movement. They stand around and wait for one person to "do their thing". Cassell, as much as I love him, is a huge factor in this. Way too many quick shots or trying to do too much...get those teammates involved Sam. Run the show the right way.

Everyone is getting on Kaman, but watch the games or look at the box scores to see how many shot attempts he's getting. He's not getting enough. Tonight, when he had that good run in the 3rd quarter where he scored his 6 points, they stopped getting him the ball. And this was against a team that I think they could have pounded inside if they were more patient. Get the ball inside, if nothing is there, pass it out and repost. Get back to that inside-outside game and I think we can stop having these bad showings. It would be great if their first good game of the season came on Tuesday...against the Fakers. Go Clips!

I agree, these ugly wins are not gonna cut it in march, april and may. i seen they missed all their 3s tonight. do we need to bring piatkowski back, lol, j/k. But seriously the spacing, ball movement and patience are the things we need to be successful. Its early and I have faith they'll work it out. It would be a waste for them not too. This team can definitely start separating themselves from a lot of the competition, if they just do the right things. But all in all, its a win, and YES, that would be great to bounce back to peak performance against the "other" LA team. WRITE IN Q-ROSS for the ALL STAR BALLOT !!!!!

Yeah that was pretty ugly- 23 turnovers! But thankfully EB broke through with his best game- in fact it was kind of like old times w/ Brand & Maggette leading the way. Cassell & Livingston really struggled w/ Sam going 3-14 and Shaun having 6 turnovers to go with 3 assists and only 2 assists. Q Ross- man what can you say about the guy- he's been awesome. He had to hound Iverson all game long and still was able to hit 6 of 8 shots (including some huge baskets in regulation & overtime). As for Kaman- it just seems like coach doesn't have confidence in him yet. He did okay but only played 23 minutes- I think he only played a few seconds of the 4th quarter and didn't play at all it OT.

Hopefully the Clippers will play much better on Tuesday against the Lakers!

Another W comes to Clipperland...that's the main fact but as you say it seems like if we aren't playing as we could play...I'm sure that we will get this level in a future but while we can't play at our best is always nice to get W's...The first thing I have looked when I've had the stats was Kaman's performance...it seems that he hasn't stepped up yet.Although is nice that he isn't a selfish player and we are winning right now, he must realize that he isn't already a rookie.he has signed a huge contract and he must show that he deserves that...I no doubt on kaman's effort (he's not like kandiass) but if the team has a bad streak, he will need to start putting big numbers or there will be many angry devils wishing to bite him...LET'S GO KAMAN!

I knew Quinton Ross's defense would be key to this matchup. But I didn't think his offense was going to play such a huge factor! This guy made all the big shots when they counted. He's practically did everything that Cassell gets lauded for. That's about the biggest positive of this game -- now opposing teams can't double team Brand or Kamen as easily because Quinton will hit the easy shots. Also, for a guy with such a slender build he's not afraid to risk himself by driving down the lane. He played the most complete game.

Let's see if Q can contain Kobe on Tuesday. Heck maybe Q can make him pay too on the offensive end if Kobe choses to leave him open. Also I hope Maggette stays under control and not to try to do too much (i.e. shoot too many quick, long jumpers)....

BOO YAH what a comeback win from down 16. A win is a win no matter what. Now let's FOCUS on the Fakers. I made a $5 bet already with my friends on who's going to win. KoME is back but who cares we got the answer in Q-ROSS. And it's time for Kaman to crush Bi-Num and show who's the #1 center in L.A.! My prediction Clippers 102, Fakers 97!!! GO CLIPS!!!!

I have no problem with Maggette taken the open jump-shot since an open shot is an open shot. But he also needs to be a bit smarter on his drives to the basket. It's great that he can drive to the hoop and get fouled or rebound his own miss, but I saw several occassions where he just ended up with the offensive foul. The Clippers really need to cut down on this department.

Yeah sometimes that play becomes a little too predictable, esp. when Maggette drives hard along the baseline. He should keep his head up and look for the open teammate because most likely it's not his man who comes to try to take the charge.
