The Clippers and the Sonics square off tonight at the Staples Center. I'm sure that the Clippers welcome the back-to-back after that stinging loss to the Lakers last night. The Sonics have a lot of firepower though and let's see if the Clipper D holds up better tonight.

Why the heck is Brand only got 7 points??? Are they doubling him that bad??? Or is he just missing shots??? Again...Tim Thomas makes two threes, then missed two threes. Its frustrating because we all know they can play much better. AND AGAIN....NO SINGLETON, NO EWING, NO A. WILLIAMS, NO DAVIS...The Sonics shot AWFUL from the line and they still won. At least the turnovers are down a bit. The Sonics and Lakers must be THANKFUL that the Clips GAVE them wins. Well, hopefully Dunleavy knows how to handle this. It's easy for me to say whats wrong, but its just frustrating as a diehard fan of a team that's on the verge of turning the table on never having success a standard. Time to start winning on the road!!!! Go CLIPS

That was a pretty sad performance- once again the Clippers got off to an awful start and just couldn't come back. Dunleavy must have zero confidence in guys 9 through 12- the only player other than the regular 8 who played was Ewing, and that was for like 25 seconds to end the 2nd quarter. Tim Thomas was really getting shredded by Rashard Lewis in the 4th- coach should've used Singleton or Mobley to try to slow him down. Also I don't know why Maggette only played 19 minutes- with guys struggling to score so much he really needed to be out on the floor more than that.

Brand got shutdown by the Sonics big men & their aggressive double teams. He kept kicking the ball out but the rotation of the ball is slow and the Sonics defenders were able to react and close in on the outside shooters. EB's effort was there but he just wasn't all that accurate.

Maybe the starting lineup needs to be changed up cuz the current combination is not getting it done to start the game- they're just getting killed. They need some more energy out there to start the game. I say put Maggette or Singleton in there to start, and bring Mobley off the bench. Cat is struggling a bit but he should do well against 2nd units, whereas Maggette or Singleton should bring that extra burst of energy right off the bat.

That was CRAP man! We just got our ASS whopped. There's no D*MN movement on offense no cutting no nothin' same CRAP over and over. WE AINT no getting easy baskets. NOBODY cuts when the ball goes in the post they just like TREES they just stand there and watch guys getting doubled and wait for the rock be thrown back out. Holding Sonics to 95 is GREAT but offense is AWEFUL SH*T. GO CLIPS!

Just wondering if anyone has heard about Dunleavy developing vision problems over the summer?? He just can't seem to see past the first three players on the bench. Tonight, we had Rashard Lewis touching the three defenders thrown at him - Mobley, Maggette, and Thomas. The team was playing without any energy (which is happening WAY too often this season). It would have been a perfect time to throw James Singleton out there to see if he could contain Lewis. Not only are you putting a good individual defender out there, but you're putting in an energy guy. These are the kind of nights that put the dumb in Coach "Dumb"-leavy. It's the coaches job to find the right combination. It's also the coaches job to put his players in positions to succeed and I'm not seeing that in the offense (and I use the term offense very loosely here) that the Clippers are running. Maybe Sterling needs to wait on that contract extension. Maybe Larry Brown wants to make a comeback. Just a thought!

Actually they were really bad at free throws too- 18-26- only Shaun Livingston was perfect- everyone else missed at least 1. If they had made 4 or 5 more you never know what might've happened.

Good point- the Sonics must've have like 7 or 8 easy layup baskets. I don't really remember the Clippers getting anything easy. They had to battle for everything and make great 1 on 1 moves- that's just not going to get it done.

We all know JSing can play- he just hasn't had a chance. Remember that first game last year- he started the game and had a double-double. The next game he got another double-double. That's ashamed to see him nailed to the bench like that. Heck play him at center some times I would like to see that.

The fact of the matter is: We have 1 player injured...we are very lucky with that so far (knock on wood)...but we're not winning like we should with no injuries. That is a sign that the lineup needs to be changed, or someone needs to step up, lead, and create an energy. i would hate to be at the practice today, lol.
