No worries- from what I've observed I think that Jared Jordan is better than Jason Hart. And in case we don't get Francis I guess we can pick between Knight, Smush, and Boykins.

Better hope we get Francis, cause the pickins will start to get slim as players get signed. I was one of the biggest critics last year on how Smush played. I watched a lot of Laker games. I was critical because even though Smush was an offensive threat every night, he couldn't stay in front of anybody. Thing is, he is quick, and he made a lot of steals. I still think he can be better because physically he can, he just has to get his mind straight on the defensive end. He anticipates steals. He doesn't anticipate the offensive moves of the opposing PG. I still think he can be fixed. And when it happens, Smush is still young and could have a good career for somebody.

Francis is trash

One man's "trash" is another's treasure. I remember that similar concerns were raised when Cassell was traded to the Clippers, and things just worked out great. A 2 year deal for Stevie for not a lot of $ is not that risky and could potentially reap great rewards.

Yes PG's are dropping like flies. At this point there will be competition for Francis with Miami. They have pushed hard for several PG's, who have all signed elsewhere in the last few days (Mo Williams the latest). I would also settle for Knight as a 2nd option.

But LAC cannot sign Stevie until Wednesday, so all the other options (Knight, Boykins) could be gone by then. At that point it could become a bidding war between Miami and LAC ... and Stevie's agent will take advantage of that. Scary. I'd hate to be shut out and have to settle for Smush! Aaaagh!
