BD is a waste of space.. if he really cared he would start working right after that 40 point loss. What a loser

Sam Cassell for one.

And Dunleavy gets blamed plenty around here as well.

It took a lot of help from the entire organization to get the record that we have. No one is free of fault. ES 42 is right.

Yeah, but for Sam Cassell, the slower we go the better it is for him. So Dunleavy's go slow offense is made to order for Sam. On the other hand, BD is a push the ball up the floor, let's score on transition PG. If we move that fast Dunleavy can't follow the game.

I guess the point is that if they move Dunleavy to GM and bring in a new coach, then we can draft the best player. If he stays as coach, there are some players whose talent will be wasted on the Clippers. They will get frustrated, and as soon as they can, they will leave.

I watched game after game and heard Dunleavy calling out "push it, push it." And Baron was too fat, slow and out of shape to do so... Baron reminded me of Dennis Johnson in his last year or two with the Celtics, playing on pride after his physical skills deteriorated... except for the pride part.

Yea Dunleavy does need to go but don't make it sound like he never runs the break. Davis doesn't finish the break! He runs the court and fires up 3's or turns the ball over. Can't blame coach for that

I am not about to "nuthug" Dunleavy but give me one team in the history of the NBA that has won a championship or even gotten to the Finals with selfish runner PG like Baron Davis... the guy is not a winner plain and simple. Dont think Dunleavy is a winner either so please dont even go there.

Bad Coach and Bad PG = 19 wins.

Just for the record, the Clippers were 10th in the league in shots taken per game... They play faster than 2/3rds of the teams in the league... They took more shots than playoff teams Denver, Utah, Orlando, Boston, Cleveland, Portland, Houston and San Antonio... The fastest team in the league, New York, took only 3.7 more shots per game than the Clippers...

The Clippers problem isn't the speed at which they play. It's the quality (or lack there of) of the shots they take and/or the quality of the players shooting them.

I hate Dunleavy's isolation offense, but a lot of teams use it.. His main problem as a coach is that his players quit on him. That can be reason enough to fire a coach, since it's hard to get rid of over-paid underachieving players. That says more about him as a GM (desperate) for bringing in that type of player (dogs like Baron, losers like Ricky and Zach)...

A great NBA player works his tail off and adds something new to his game every off-season... Brand did it. Maggette did it. Even Kaman did it for awhile... They kept improving because they loved playing and wanted to be better... Baron and Zach haven't improved since their 3rd or 4th year in the league... Tells you what those guys are doing in the off-season once they got their bank.
