Forget Hinrich. We be doing the Bulls a favor, giving them Kaman and then allowing them to have extra money to sign Ben Gordon. Why don't we trade Kaman or Camby, and use the salary space to bring Ben Gordon in. We'd have a dynamic back court, with Baron, Ben, and Eric, and who cares if Baron can't play well any more, we will have a back up in the worst case scenario.

I would not want to just dump Kaman. If we did, I would insist on picking up Ben Gordon, otherwise it would be stupid. We could also then spend our mid level on Ron Artest or something like that.

Baron

Eric Godon

Ben Gordon

Ron Artest

Camby/ or Kaman

Randolph

Griffin

That is a monster team on paper. But don't worry, the clipps will mess it up.

I might even go for Josh Smith too, but I rather add Ben Gordon.

Ben Gordon lives by the same motto as Baron Davis: If you put it up there enough times, it will go in eventually. We don't need another chucker

ben gordon is even undersized for a 2 guard, u epect him to play the 3? dude, we dont need him. we need a decent pg or a decent pf. not a 2 guard. ben gordon is 6'2", the guy is barely playing the 2 guard. kobe is 6'6" and he is playing the 2 guard. how do u expect ben gordon to guard sf's like bron or even someone like john salmons.

Why hamper on Eric Gordon's minutes? He's like the one guy who has earned more playing time, not less.

Ben Gordon and Eric Gordon are too much the same... We need a PG..

All this talk about PG's how about we turn our interest towards Ramon Sessions and be done with it?

you have my vote but i wonder how much he'll be seeking. He should still be pretty cheap. We still really need depth at the 2 and 3. At least we have Taylor still.

i saw sessions play a few games this year, he's a gamer. But i think the clips can do better. I'm biased though. I love tall pg's. sessions is a little to small for me and has had only one decent year, i'd hate to give him the mid level like the kings did with Beno.

I fully agree with ekker and sz. We don't need our fg% to go down even more. I'm kinda surprised, but is it due to his long contract that nobody talks about Luol Deng? I think Deng (although a bit injury prone) is a great player who could help us with the sf position.

Also, just throwing this out there for fun (not sure if the numbers match up and all): We should trade Kaman to the Pacers for Dunleavy Jr. and backup PG Jarett Jack. Then we could have a Dumblyriffic father-son combo. Haha Dun Jr. can play both 2 and 3 as well Razz

I also think Deng would fit in well as a Clipper. His contract is kind of long but I think he has great potential. It seems like Chicago wants to go with Salmons and Ben Gordon over Hinrich or Deng. I don't think Ben Gordon is the right answer for our team, we need role players with winning mentalities. Gordon seems to be more of an offensive guy which will limit the Clippers other scoring threats.

I do think you guys have some good points about there not being enough minutes in the back court if we added B. Gordon. However, he is a winner, his teams wins and in the next four years you can be sure that Baron is going to go down. Thats why the Bulls want to keep him, because he gets them into the playoffs and send Hinrich packing. And the other guy I mentioned, Ron Artest gets his team to the second round ot the playoffs. I do agree, there might not be enough ball for the whole team, but I would definately go after Artest; he just seems to make teams win and I don't know how.

Deng is out of favor apparently in Chicago... Like Z-bo, his contract is considered toxic making him hard to move... I don't think we have many needs really... Just to move one of our bigs for a good, solid combo guard... All this stuff about Artest, or small forwards, I don't think are going to happen...

Dunleavy must be scared to death to go into the season with Baron Davis as his only option at the point... Baron Davis who played like crap and quit on his teammates, fans and on Dunleavy... I'd bet my house, that if Davis can't be moved (he probably can't be) we are going to have a very solid backup PG in camp at the start of next season to either push Baron, or take his spot if need be; could be Hinrich, Sessions of a number of others... I think Dunleavy would favor a combo guard, in the event Baron does play well and hard next season... That way, you'd get value out of him because he can back up two positions and play 25-35 minutes a game... Again, Hinrich is the man who seems like a perfect fit.
