The bucks would do it in a heartbeat to revive there franchise and get rid of a complaining RJ and Villanueva...

It would be a dream come true for Danny Ainge(or any GM) to acquire that 10 million expiring contract of Camby's and if rumors are true to get rid of Allen

LINE UP:

Baron Davis

Ray Allen

Richard Jefferson

Zach Randolph

Chris Kaman

BENCH:

Charlie Villanueva

Eric Gordon

Al Thornton

Deandre Jordon

Mike Taylor

and some unknowns, including the 2nd clipp pick

the numbers work if you drop the trash like fred and marty and allow the the rookie salary guys take in place like gordon, al , jordon, taylor and 2nd clipp pick

it would automatically make the road to the championship go threw the Clippers...We would be an unstoppable team FOR YEARS

85% chance to win a title aka "the Celtics/Lakers"

40% chance to go back to back

I haven't looked yet but damn that starting lineup already looks like its over payroll. Clippers also don't have a 2nd pick this year.

around 14-16 mil over payroll but thats NOT including griffin

so how much to number 1 picks make? 6-7 mil

thats a kaman trade away

and the 2nd pick would come part of the trade to Milwaukee or boston to fill the roster with a base salary knowing we have 8 strong

Come on... The Bucks already have RJ and Charlie V and they didn't win crap... You'd seriously think of giving up Griffin for those two? If ever I own a team, don't bother applying for the GM job.

GRIFFIN IS NOT GOING ANYWHERE UNLESS HE IS PART OF A TRADE FOR LEBRON, WADE, DURANT, BROY, ETC... ONLY FOR ANOTHER YOUNG BUT EXPERIENCED TOP 10 SUPERSTAR. GRIFFIN IS A BEAST AND A THROW BACK HARD WORKER. HE WILL AT LEAST BE AS GOOD AS CARLOS BOOZER WITH A FEW TOP 10 MONSTER DUNKS AND BLOCKS ALONG THE WAY.

GRIFFIN IS BLUE COLLAR JUST LIKE US CLIPPERSFANS. ITS EASY TO LOVE A WINNING TEAM LIKE THE LAKERS BECAUSE PEOPLE JUST JUMP ON THE BANDWAGON EVERY YEAR WHEN THE PLAYOFFS START. IT TAKES REAL FANS TO LOVE THE CLIPPERS.

"YOU LOVE THE PEOPLE THAT LOVE YOU" ATMOSPHERE.

#1 pick gets about $5M.

I don't follow you, how does a Kaman trade help? We'd have to take on an add'l $10M in salary anyway.

What does Boston get out of a Camby for Allen trade? Why would they do it?

doesn't Ray Allen get paid close to 20 million how would Camby's 7 million and incentives just makes a dent.

The only part of the initial trade I would want is RJ for Randolph. I would almost guarantee Camby will be around til the trade deadline.

Ray is still decent but he was a little inconsistent last season. I really don't see Boston trading Ray to shed cap space next season it not like they are going to sign Lebron. I think Detroit has served as an example not to trade away a core player who has great team chemistry on the team with Billups.

haha seriously... where Charlie V and RJ are beasts.

Just doesnt make sense and most definitely wouldnt equal a championship.

Sorry but its a NO for me too. Dont think adding both those guys to our roster will help us in any ways. Both players are respectively good but not part of the plan. Dont think they provide us anything. maybe JR but thats about it. He has star qualities. Havent hear too much about him since he was aquired by Milwaukee but when he was in NJ, you used to hear about him all the time.

I wouldnt do this at all. I like our squad now and we should keep it that way

You got any more of what your smoking? RJ has always been an underacheiver and I's rather keep Jones thans pick up Villanueva. After his year last year he deserves another shot at making the team. Ray Allen isn't Jesus any more and he wasn't even the best three point shooter on the celtics in the two years he's been there. He hit a big shot this year in the playoffs but Gordon Novak and maybe Thorton (if he's feeling good) can hit that shot too. If your gonna trade the first pick the craziest thing a team can do is trade him for a fairly old starter (Allen) and a couple of roll players. (Everybody else)

Bottom line is WE DONT TRADE PICK. Pick Blake and start and begin season. If pieces may fall into our lap from now until October, then we can definately look at whats out there, but i would strongly suggest for us to work hard this off season and come out gunning out the gates

Sorry, but that's one trade idea I can't really get behind. Taking injuries into account, I don't know the roster with Jefferson and Villanueva even guarantees us homecourt advantage in the West playoffs, let alone a championship (especially since MD Sr. still will be the coach). Like of said before, lets keep the # 1 pick (select Griffin) and see where the young guys can take us in a few years.
