Are we going to go after another player in this draft? I thought dunlevy said in his interview that he wanted to bring other players in if their agents will let them. If so, who would Dunlevy want in this draft after we get Griffin?

Would he still go for Rubio, maybe trading Sacremento Kaman and are Minnesota pick for the rights to Rubio, and then send Baron Davis and Marcus Camby packing to Houston for a broken down Tracy Mrgrady to clear cap space. Is he going to disemantle the team and go young or try and win now. My guess, he wants to win now. Who knows? Maybe we could trade Kaman and minesota for Kevin Martin.

I think he's just trying to play mind games a little bit. If he makes it sound like he is interested in other players, more offers will come for the 1st pick

I think, when you've got Griffin and Gordon, it's a perfect time to go a little young... But I think Dunleavy's open to the possibilities of either win now, or build, depending on what's offered... If someone wants Camby and has a pick, he needs to have a sense of who's out there and who else he'd like to get... It doesn't mean anything is happening... He's just doing his homework... For whatever flaws Dunleavy may have, laziness is not one of them.

my guess is taylor griffin at the end of the second round. "Rumor is Clips are going to draft Taylor Griffin." - from lang whitaker (slam magazine writer's twitter). however, i think that was a joke about them taking taylor instead of blake.

You can bet Blake was asked if he wants his brother on the team... If he has half Blake's work ethic, no problem buying an early second round pick to get him... A lot of boards have him as a potential sleeper.

i have not seen a single mock with him being selected and he was not even selected to be in the portsmouth invitational which is the fringe draft players draft camp so we could trade in the late second round for him or maybe even sign him as a undrafted free agent for summer league. he plays really well with his brother.

Nobody would say we didn't try if we picked Blake. Anything else has to be a plus.

WHAT ARE THE CHANCES WE'RE DRAFTING GRIFFIN, AND IF SO, IS HE DEFINATELY GONNA BE #32 ? I just wanna customise his jersey before it goes up to like 200 dollers...

He said that it was possible that we could obtain an extra first round pick in the interview after Griffin's workout...

I think Dunleavy would love to bring in Rubio as well as Griffin... I also think he would love to get rid of Baron because of how Baron rolled over on him last year. It doesn't seem like it would be easy to move Baron... His reputation around the league was never the best and last year solidified him in the minds of most as a headache as much as an asset... I don't know why he'd want another pick in this draft if it couldn't be Rubio, however... I'd like Tyreke Evans as a big point guard to play with Gordon, but it could take Tyreke a few years to become a real player in the league.

I think all we'll see is one of the bigs moved for a solid PG insurance policy in the event Baron misfires again.

Evans is an intriguing prospect to me too. I agree that a big PG would be nice, and Evans and Rubio both have length.

I don't know why everyone is so high on Ricky Rubio. I saw him play in the Olympics and he just doesn't seem to be NBA material. I predict he will be comparable to Marco Jaric and hope the Clippers don't get him.

With Blake Griffin and Eric Gordon as the nucleus of the Clip Show, they can work Baron Davis, Marcus Camby, and Zach Randolph into the mix and make for a tough team. As long as the focus of the offense revolves around the core and Baron and Z-Bo stop taking so many crazy shots, they will be fine.

I'm both a Clippers and Lakers fan and kindof find it funny that I'm going to be doing the "Select a Seat" this weekend for Clip Show tix next season...meanwhile, I still may have tix this season for the Lake Show. You gotta love a city who has a team to root for in the playoffs and a team to root for in the NBA draft every season. Beating the Rockets and getting Blake Griffin all in one day was epic.

← Griffin for RJ and Villanueva....Camby for Ray

→ Z-Bo to the Cavs?
