Probably, but doesnt mean likely. It may just be a rumor

cboy, well Ben has played PG before... and im sure his addition would be huge for them considering that the Clipps need a go to guy in crunch time. Dont get me wrong, Eric and Al are good, but if you ask me, Ben gets the ball no question. Did you see him in the Boston series?? Again, just my 2 cents on the topic.

isnt this what most fans want from our organization is to be competitive at the free agent market at 2010... a trade with kaman will benifit us. kaman's 11 mill and camby's 9 mill.. we will have 20 million for 2010 free agents

Whoa! 3 games! That's quite a pool of data you got there. Note to everyone: If Steve Novak starts every game for the rest of his career, he will average 6.7 ppg.

By the way, when did I say "they are essentially the same player"? I still stand by my statement that more than anything else, Mike Miller is a 3-point shooter.

That's a good point. Rent Mike Miller for one year, get back cap space for 2010, and get a first round pick for the trouble.

With Griffin's salary we won't have that much to spend. We'll have anywhere from 13-15 million I think. Griffin in his second year will make about 6 million I think. The only was we get into the 2010 free agent frenzy is to turn Randolph into an expiring.

Have u guys actually watched the games he played in against us. he is not just a three-point shooter, he stops shooting when in a slump and drives it to the basket where he'll either finish it or kick it out for a better shot and the Wolves just didn't have anyone to finish definitely not Gomes or Telfair. I like Steve Novak alot but he is so slow coming off screens to get a good shot and his defense can't even stop a steve nash freethrow when standing in front of him.

that doesnt leave them with herman or affalo, cause they are most probably signing gordon for 11m in the offseason.

in this case, probably means "most probably" cause he economy sucks and he will for sure take an offer like that.

I agree, Mike Miller is a great player. I think he is primarily a 3-point shooter, that is his greatest asset, however he has a variety of skills that are impressive, particularly on defense. I wish we traded for him back when we had Maggette.

I hope we make this trade but I don't want Camby involved. 20 million coming off the books will be terrific for us in 2010. On top of that, Zach's contract might be more easily moved during his last year. 17 million coming off the books is exactly what a team would want if they were hoping to sign Carmelo Anthony the next year wink

The only way i would get either of those guys is to add them in the pot with Baron and ship them away.

There are several sides to this coin. Most if not all depend on D Jordan, First Olowakandi and Kloss were both True Centers. (Isn't Kandy still available?) Kaman isn't necessarily a good one either. Even though they're not centers, wouldn't you want Timmy or Amare? Jordan is going to get LOTS of minutes with CK and MC hurt 1/3 of the season each. We don't have a glut of Bigs. Two injury prone guys, a Rookie, an untried DJ and Zack. That means Zack and DJ starters. Novak is as clumsy as an OX. I doubt he's co ordinated enough to defend against himself but if he's set up he could be top five in 3's.He's also big and Mike Smith among others want him to bulk up and play #4. Keep him. He may work hard over the summer knowing he has a home. Miller is a more complete player and a good shooter. He'll be back. Again a gamble D J no skills vs Kaman, an injury prone head case. Trade him. If he pans out DJ will be better than Herr Kaman Ain't gonna happen

I think we will have a big changes from next 2 days.

Our team need a change, and we'll make a big move to make us better.

Maybe a big blockbuster trade we will seen.I hope dumbleavy will not make stupid thing, but i still hope that we'll can to bring a big name!

But one question, what do you think about Melo Anthony in LAC uniform?

It's one of my favourite players, one of the purest small forwards in the league,i'd love to see him in a clips unif!

are you bipolar? Seriously i think checking into a shrink might be a very good opton for you. Just about 20 posts before this you were ripping on Mike Miller and comparing him to steve Novak and saying how the only thing Mike Miller does is shoot 3's.

Seriously i get tired of the flip flopping garbage on this forum stand by what you say and stop being freaking politicians!

Dont be like Lakers fans people! We are better than that!

so it looks like miller will go to washington with randy foye for the 5th pick and etan thomas, pecherov and songaila.

The Washington Wizards have agreed in principle to acquire Minnesota Timberwolves guards Randy Foye(notes) and Mike Miller(notes) for Etan Thomas(notes), Oleksiy Pecherov(notes) and Darius Songaila and the fifth pick in Thursday’s NBA draft, a league executive with knowledge of the deal told Yahoo! Sports. The teams are still working out details but the deal is expected to be consummated.

I like the deal for the Wolves. They now have the 5th and 6th picks and can add two nice players to the 2 good front court players they have. There is also speculation that they trade the two picks for the 2nd pick to get Rubio.

Not sure how much better this makes the Wizards. Foye played well at the end of last year and if Miller can return to the Miller of old I guess they'll be okay.

Yeah this helps out minny. They can take tyreke Evans and another guard. Or they can trade both picks to move higher, and the grizz did talk about they are willing to move down cause they confirmed that they WILL NOT draft rubio. They have many options now.... Or they can trade kevin love and the sixth pick for a true center to compliment Jefferson( maybe kaman?)

Looks like people were mostly in favor of Miller, but didn't want to give up Kaman.

And now the FO has a chance to put them together...
