yeah just read this breaking news. spurs got him for pretty cheap too. man, i know he doesnt expire until after next year but zach seems more valuable then the guys they got for him.

Jefferson for Bruce Bowen, Fabricio Oberto and Kurt Thomas. I guess the Bucks want to save money right away. That just made the Spurs a whole lot better.

yeah RJ has to be stoked. that definitely is a great deal for the spurs... Manu plays best off the bench anyways

actually that might be a better scenario depending how Finley plays and also George hill. Forgot that Bruce Bowen was the starter. Still Manu does provide a nice spark off the bench. Only thing, Spurs need some bigs desperately now.

I think they could make a run for May and Gortat to shore up their front line. Should be an interesting season for a lot of teams coming up!

Yeah it seems like a lot of teams are looking to make some changes and the draft will certainly throw some curve balls to teams depending on how things shake out.

well, i read that bucks can say no to the team option for bowen, which would make him a free agent this summer, and he will go back to the spurs.

Yeah it is kind of the spurs thing to bring Ginoboli off the bench. Not saying it cant or wont happen, but with a healthy Finley and Roger Mason Jr., I would assume they would do what they usually do and bring Manu off the bench.

Mason starts at the 2 and Manu comes off the bench. Haha they are looking weak in the center position. It would be a dream if Dunleavy can pull a Kaman for Manu trade.

it was so obvious RJ was getting traded. theres no doubt that the loser coach they had with the bucks was hurting his game...

so the spurs trade bowen, kurt thomas and orbeto for RJ....ARE U FUDGING KIDDING ME!!

there goes another all star like artest that we could have gotten to 100% boost our team into finally become good....

there goes dumbleavy thinking he knows what he's doing and probably looking to bring back ricky davis because dumbassly thinks he's a GM genius

and after reading some your guys posts i know some of you here dont like to win, which is understandable ....i mean we are the most unique fans in the nba, but dammmmmmmmmmmmmm we should have gotten RJ

i hate it when smart educated teams like the 4 time world champion spurs or the champion lakers or the champion celtics make the smart trade we could have made in a heartbeat.....but were too dumb believing in miracles instead of playing the field correctly like champions doo...or the double whammy like we have in stupid organization accompanied with a moron GM/coach

get ready for a spurs/laker western conference finals again for the 1000000000000 time

i hate u mike dunleavy

That it what I was saying. Baron can go cold and still hit game winners. The only reason I thought Barons numbers would improve is because now he has solid big men. Kaman, Randolph, and Griffin should be able to help him get open to create easier shots. And he has the option to pass to high percentage players. By no means have those three had the careers as the Big Three. So we don't know how productive Rondo would be without having those bail out options and being the first option on the team.

i know how you feel clippernation23. i also wanted to get rj, he was a good player being shopped. but i have heard the clippers had something to give up to get him whose contract matched up pretty well with rj's. yes, rumor has it that the clippers offered z-boat for rj, but they wouldnt take him. the bucks were reportedly one of the teams who refused to touch z-boat.

as i posted in a different thread, teams just don't want randolph, even though he put up great numbers and his contract matched up with jeffersons who was even being shopped.

the bucks chose to make a financial move and take expiring players instead of take a gamble on a 20/10 guy. interpret however you want, but i think this just proves what i've been saying all along about the type of player and person z-boat is.

again zack was never...i repeat... never in anyyyy trade rumors!! the whole notion of we cant trade zack cause of his contract came from dumb sport writers ....theres no indication mike dunleavy wants to trade a player who puts up 20/10 especially in dumbassly offense

if they gave bowen and kurt thomas...we could have gave camby or kaman.....

very bad move by the clippers.......

Yeah Z-bo was kind of the only piece we could offer them without giving up something too valuable for Jefferson. I dont blame the bucks for not biting either. They clearly are trying to save money asap, Z-bo doesnt solve that and allow them to have money to resign sessions and Villanueva.

So while I agree that it would have been a great fit to get RJ here, I wouldnt say we "missed out." The bucks just didnt like our offer.

can someone please send me the link of the trade for zack and rj

this whole pretending to know what happened is getting ridiculous...

ZACK WAS NEVER IN TRADE RUMORS.....NEVER!!!!!!!!

z-boat for RJ would have been sweet but the Bucks want cap relief, not a big contract.

this is such a bad rumor......rondo isnt going anywhere!!

apparently rondo has been attempted to be traded like 3 times cuase he is stubborn, hard to coach, and is selffish at times.

I thought this rumor was ridiculous at first, but if all those rumors about Rondo wearing out his welcome are true, then now would be a good time to trade him, while his stock is high.

Still, I'm not sure he'd be a good fit here. Nonetheless intriguing though.

He's not the first option because of Garnett, Pierce and Allen... Baron shouldn't be the first option either, but since he has the ball as PG, he selfishly makes himself the first option.

why is this in here?????

this has nothing to do with rondo or allen

The Bucks have flipped Fabricio Oberto to the Pistons in exchange for Amir Johnson.

Real GM reports that the move will save Detroit in their salary cap space pursuits, as Oberto’s contract is non-guaranteed.

Spurs got a good deal because they have players that work financially for Bucks. Why is everyone getting mad at Dunleavy for? What player could we possbily trade for RJ? We have no players that can be waived or contracts that expire. The whole purpose for the bucks is to sign Villanueva or Sessions and get under the cap THIS coming year.
