| Why? The other teams are announcing their rookie signings. Why are we waiting on ours? |

| ^^^yeah thats my biggest concern. IMO doubt Grizz back out. They have no inside pressence. Plus i also heard, they made a 1yr offer to Allen Iverson. I know the Grizz are not in a position to go anywhere anytime soon. thats why they are eating contracts and working slowly. Developing their core/young guys and making sure they can compete in the near future. |

| im guessing it was like 4 years starting at 5.5 million each year, with the last two seasons of his contract being a team option. |

no it's four years. Al thornton's expires 2011(if we accept the team option for his last two years, which im sure we will) and gordon ends in 2012, (again if the team picks up the options for the last two seasons, which they will) |

actually it is 3 years... the NBA changed that with the 2008 draft. I think all the 1st round busts were killing teams salary numbers.
Here is the chart from hoopshype. 4th Year is a qualifying offer (team option)
2009-10 NBA Rookie Scale
Pick 1st Year Salary 2nd Year Salary 3rd Year Option Salary 4th Year Option: Percentage
Increase Over 3rd Year Salary Qualifying Offer: Percentage Increase
Over 4th Year Salary

Actually the chart on hoopsworld confirms that it is a 4 year contract. The 4th year is still a team option. The qualifying comes AFTER the 4th year |

I stated in parentheses that it is a team option (i thought hoopsworld mistakenly called a it qualifying offer) meaning ts only a 3 year contract. As i stated above the 4th is a team option and was designed to relieve cap room for the 1st round busts (Adam Morrisson) |
