| I think we should all also consider this gives us $7 million more or so to spend. There are some quality big men out there. ZBo was a score first, black hole, and always will be. We have scoring in Baron, EG, Thorton, and Kaman. Now we need a solid glue guy. A Varajeo, Oberto, Gortat type... |

I was so dissapointed when Sterling wouldn't swap Randolph for Darko and/or Marko.
But this is SO MUCH BETTER!
Now we get a servicable swingman off the bench (a fan favorite no less) and an expiring contract to boot.
This is great news.  |

| So QR is set to make 8.8 million this year which is the last year on the contract right? if this is the case we just freed up around 17 million dollars on this deal.. sounds even sweeter... |

| I am sooo happy beyond belief right now its awesome...don't get me wrong i thought zach was awesome for us but not anymore with BG on our team..they're both should be starting PF's in this league and one would have eventually became upset with their minutes..plus Q. Rich is one of my favorite clippers ever i still have his home jersey when he played for us...we do need to add one more player for depth imo hopefully to the SF position or maybe even an extra PF in the case kaman does get injured and we have to move camby back as a C...but all in all this is g8 becuz this will give gordon/griffin more looks as well as giving DeAndre more PT....LET'S GO CLIPPERS! |

Hey eric, Im sure there are more details to come from this deal, but any early indications from the clips front office about what they plan to do next? Do we stand pat now, look to grab a FA this summer, or are we going to wait until 2010 to do something with our capspace?

| the clippers can trade for a player making up to about $7.4 million this season without having to send a player back - like for instance a S&T for Shawn Marion if they chose - just an example of something I don't think happens. |
