Last year we only had one. I am hoping we can get 10 this year? It seems like ESPN realllly loves marketing Blake, so hopefully that will help. Going to school in New York doesnt allow me to catch many KTLA broadcasts |

I'm thinking we may get at least 3 from ESPN (they usually feature all 30 teams at least once a year), and maybe at least five from NBA TV. As far as TNT, probably one, and if the team performs well and is in playoff contention, they could add some late-season games. ABC...unless we make the playoffs, I don't see the Clips airing there. Hell, we gotta worry finding an over-the-air outlet to air the games now that KTLA is out of the picture.
Good thing about NBA TV now is that they signed a new distribution deal with all of the major cable and satellite operators, and the new deal enables them to make the channel more available to subscribers. Currently, the only way to get NBA TV is either order the sports tier package or order the League Pass package. |

Yeah Blake Griffin should get us at least 4 or 5 games on espn. Pretty sure 1 of those 4 or 5 will be against the Lakers because thats what the NBA likes to do every year.
And regarding KTLA....I believe FSN is home of the clips now and no local games will be broadcasted. I could be wrong, but I believe that is how things stand as of now. |

| Yeah i remember there was a thread about this a few months back. Believe just like Sunnny stated, FSN will be broadcasting our games. Our contract w/KTLA is over. |

| For those that are out of the local area.. I would suggest that you get NBA League Pass. If you have League Pass, I believe that you will get their online also. |

Ralph Lawler has a Facebook page and he was asked that question. He stated all games will be on FSN, none on a local broadcast channel. Maybe it will change but that is it for now. |

Why would EXPN televise a Clippers / Grizzlies matchup?
That would only happen if the 2 teams are playing exceptionally well and in the playoff race.
This year, ESPN will be all over LAKERS, TRAILBLAZERS, CELTICS, CAVALIERS, NUGGETS and MAGIC's jock.
Every other televised game will be matchups (i.e. Rubio vs ?.............Griffin vs ? etc)
We will be lucky to get 4-5 games depending on how the season goes. |

| when the clips start winning then we can complain about the lack of national coverage. whats wrong with espn putting winning teams on more than lottery teams? im sure the clips would get plenty of tv time if they are even mildly competitive. |

From Lawler Facebook:
In response to a lot of Clipper fans who've asked - no more games on KTLA. The entire package moves over the FSNW and Prime Ticket next season. This does not mean Fewer games - it means More TV games than ever before and you'll know where to find us, plus get the pre and post game coverage. It's Very good news and Mike and I are really excited.
AND IN RESPONSE TO SOME POSTS:
Think all games will be in high def. It does make a difference.
Told we'll have more games on TV than ever before.
It's a mixed bag - if you don't have cable (an increasingly small %) it's a bummer. If you didn't get KTLA - it's great news. Just note that well more than Half of the Lakers games, Dodgers games and Angel games are on cable. It is where sports are going all across the country. Almost all the national NBA TV games are on cable - TNT or ESPN. Several other NBA teams have their entire TV package on cable. |

yeah its all about the ratings. you either need a star player or need to be good to get on TV these days. Im pretty sure the bobcats have had like 2 or 3 games max on national tv game since becoming a franchise. why? theyve never really had a star player that everyone wants to watch and they have yet to have a good enough record to make the playoffs.
i think thats why we should get at least 4 or 5 this year- blake griffin. espn loved the guy last year, a ton of oklahoma sooner games were always on tv. they are continuing the love for griffin by airing "the rookie" with griffin, so i expect he is our ticket to a few more national tv games than usual. |

| Great to hear that more games will be in HD. Hopefully Griffin will have a good summer league and start to draw in more national interest in the Clippers. Aside from the Lakers/Clippers matchup I hope they'll show us vs. some of the younger draft teams like the Thunder and the Grizzlies. |

| It's gonna a hell of a scheduling conflict come the fall and winter, when you have the Lakers (who always get scheduling priority), Kings, Ducks, USC and UCLA football and basketball, and local college sports, not to mention FSN's own national packages. At least on DirecTV, they created an overflow channel for Fox Sports West and Prime Ticket (Channel 693), which they haven't used yet. You will have nights where you gonna three teams playing right about the same time. |
