Apparently we are dead last in the ultimate franchise rankings. This is pre-Griffin I would assume and we just had one of our worst seasons ever, so its not a huge surprise, but I thought I would share.

If you read the article its not a bash. The article is basing on on fan interaction and pricing. Lets face it, I was paying $9.00 for a burger, $10.00 for a beer, ,and $7.50 to watch us win 19 games. Now if the beer was $5.00 that would help ease it up some...

It doesnt surprise me coming from ESPN. All the Clipps can do is change from this point on. Forget about the past. Its time to move forward.

I hear this a lot. Forget the past... No we should not forget the past, we should remember it each and every day as to learn from it - where we DO NOT WANT TO BE, WHY WE ARE GOING TO PLAY SO HARD. As Bob Marley said, "in this bright future, you cant forget your past"

If we just FORGET the past, were bound to fall in the same hole.

Just wondering if you guys have seen this and if you have any takes. There are supposedly 122 professional major team in the NFL,NBA,MLB and NHL. All teams were put together and reanked by cost for fans, owners, bang for bucks, stadium experience , coaches and other things. Out of 122, we came in dead last. My Raiders came in 119, the Dodgers were 50 and the number one team are the Angels.

I'm sure someone here could find the online link, I subscribe to the rag.

For me it #^&*&^@ me off. The Lakers are rated a lot higher and we use the same arena and have a better fan experience and a better cost. We should be at least 100 !

You really can't blame the people who wrote this. Just because you're a Clippers fan doesn't mean you have to be biased. Here, I'm a 3rd party, I don't hate the Clippers, I don't love them. Honestly, I think they're right. What have the Clippers done in the past? What kind of news have they made? How many championships do they have? What superstars have they breeded? The answer to the last two questions is 0. Sure you can love your team but be realistic. The Clippers in their history have been almost always one of the worst teams unfortunately...

This article is not talking the past. This is a fan poll based on how well the team responds to the fans. The team does well with giveaways, but everything else is bad. Pricing, parking, and ticket prices. So the past really has nothing to do with the article..

This poll is so dumb. Let's face it, the Clippers are a band wagon team. When we are doing poorly, people love to make fun of us and kick us when we're down. As soon as we start to show promise, people jump on our band wagon as if we're some kind of Disney come-from-behind miracle that makes you feel warm and fuzzy inside. This poll means nothing, it was dictated by fans.

Just wait till we pull up from behind and become the dark horse team, then people will say, "oh yes the clippers are good they have a good team", then the alternate if we do bad, "clippers suck they make kobe, look bad by living there", (actual quote from a few laker fans I know)

If you want to dwell on the past, great. I've been a Clip fan for almost 20 years and I really dont care to relive all the bs that happened before. You wanna do it. More power to you. I see a bright future ahead and that is my focus for this team.

Artest may now be going to the Lakers damn we can't catch a break.

Break? Did we really want Artest? We could have traded him for Corey two years ago. We didn't. We got BG. We got EG. We got Camby. We have five starters who are potential Monsters maybe 5-6. if Ricky and Q show up and there's more. We if we get Novak have two of the better 3 pt shooters around. Mardy smoked Pierce. Jones is underrated. Our problem is these guys don't show up. This mid season count the points. With the exception of Cakeman every one can score 20 (BG showw up ???) CK should be 15/12, Marcus 8 boards off the bench. Dudes, on paper DJ is the only weak link but he can get boards and block shots like Camby (For you Pups go to Youtube and watch Wilt block shots. Greatest player ever).

Artest is good only if he takes his meds. Jackson can handle him Dunleavy couldn't. Boozer or Prince would seal the deal but they proably will cost too much talent

Even the last two years even LAL fans have said that on paper,we're monsters. "The Clippers scare me" #8

Just the fact Artest potentially going to the Lakers makes me sick of the idea they have a strong chance to win the West AGAIN!

On paper? no offense after last season I wipe my behind with the paper we are supposedly dangerous on.lol Very Happy I want results nothing less cold hard wins in the worse way. Some fans can take losing or waiting another season if our player tried, I can't we need to improve now.

We have had young talent before but if we don't win I 100% guarentee you EG, DJ, Al, and even Mike will be gone and blossom. Dunleavy can't handle Artest he can't handle the team we havebut all the same. This is go time no more waiting.

The Lakers will win another ring. With Hedo gone, forget Orlando. Cavs--no way. Last season was a disaster which had no reflection on what the team could do. Remember the teams we beat or should have beaten. EG getting suckered into a Rook mistake against Houston. Zack taking a stupid shot against Cleve, and a generally stupid 4th quarter. Kobe ADMITTEDLY cheating. Beating Boston with our bench. Blowing 20 pt leads. Coming back from 20 pt deficits only to lose. Losing almost every OT game. Loosing to High School caliber teams. Have you ever seen the TV show F Troop?

BTW "I fart in your general direction. Your mother was a hamster and your father smelled of elderberrys. I wag my private parts in front of your Aunties. I clean my nose on you" Monty Python's Holy Grail. If you haven't seen it see it.

lol okay

EG-Chicago

ZBo-Broken Play

4th- don't want even start that debate

Kobe-funny but we did kind of have a few shots and missed

Boston- still can't figure how we won that it was a miracle game by Mardy on Pierce

Blowing Leads-Lmao most games we never had one

Comebacks- this is interesting because I can't remember a single game where we were really really down and came back to win

OT-Thought our chances were better in OT, meant we didn't have a complete collapse in the fourth

Highschool teams- Well the general opinion is High School Team>>>> Elementary school team (last season Clipps) lol

F-Troop- No.But from my opinion of our season was like Pootie Tang. You want to walk away but you cant turn away.

Alright let's let go of the whole Mardy on Pierce thing now. Its over, and it was a good battle. Ive seen him play many times and hes just not that good. He had a good outing against Pierce. Let's stop trying to relive it, thats all it was. But yes, we have talent and I wouldnt want to face us either.

The point of the post was how many times we should have won but didn't. There were games when we up to 19 down and were competative for a while. Yeah we lost but that type of comeback means we shouldn't have been down to begin with. Of course we collapsed in the 4th quarter, no debate but that's because we screwed up, not because we didn't have it. We were our own opponent. With the sizeable exception of injuries, luck had little to do with it. Players are less apt to get "injured" on a hot team. We screwed the pooch. We blew a 19 pt lead against Cleve and I think a 19 pt lead against Denver. The point about the LAL game is that we were competative against the World Champs and should have won. A team that played at that level has no excuses. That was the only game stolen. We gave the rest away. Looking good on paper means you "might" be good Looking bad on paper usually means you're screwed

Call me naive, but I truly think we'll learn from last year. Yes, I know this happens quite often and it's "there's always next year" with us. But I'm convinced that Dunleavy has swolled his ego, and will loosen the ropes on his offensive stlye, and the newcoming rookie Griffin will energize the team. We all know we had talent last year, but for whatever reason we couldn't win games. I think Randolph gone helps us. Maybe not in the short short term, but we will soon see the results.

oh so after 20+ years of coaching he's gonna finally swallow his ego!! wonderful buuuut no..

mike dunleavy is a set play coach and will forever be a set play coach..

He will have SET PLAY RUN PLAYS, yell from the opponent side rebound to run of course WHEN HE WANTS TOO

he's an ex player who feels like his voice should be part of a game...trys to in vision every play before it happens and yells it out blankly to his players, in ways if you sit where i sit you'd be amazed.. while kobe standing there laughing saying did he just say the play...

while his attendance with the clips and especially after sam left he has morphed into not only calling plays but calling the floor in telling players to "cut" or "shoot now"... , its like he had a basketball nervous breakdown or finally felt the freedom of calling plays again after sam floor leadership left

7 years 1 playoff run...about the 3rd time he's rebuilding now and also our GM ......

I'm not trying to defend Dunleavy. In fact, I've already said he ought to dedicate himself to being GM full-time and let someone else coach.

But is it a coincidence that the healthiest year the team has had in the last 7 years was the same year they made the playoffs?

The first four years built up to the playoffs.

The plan was to pass the torch from Sam Cassell to Shaun Livingston, but his knee injury altered the course of the organization.

Before they could find another PG prospect to take Cassell's place, Brand tore his achillies. The team decided to wait and see if he could come back healthy and then maybe make a playoff run. He didn't, and they couldn't.

Then Brand ends up leaving. And I believe that's when the organization finally started rebuilding.

I'm not sure where you get rebuilding times 3...

besides the draft before we traded for sam and picked up mobley..

every year we are in the top 10 of the draft selecting a player to hopefully take us in the next level obviously in b.diddy words 4 to 5 years from now

this is whats gonna happen...and its been happining for 30 years

next year goodbye al because were gonna get another guy in the draft

2 years goodbye eric cause he's been on a team who's rebuilding for his entire career....we better pray in 2010 we make the playoffs or he's a gonner and frankly i think he wants to go........ HE LOVES INDI

4 years the los angeles lakers are gonna make a push for blake and if we havent made the playoffs, say goodbye!...

its alot like what portland is doing now.....sign hedo...make a huuge playoff push and say "hey roy....look how dedicate were are in trying to win...please sign our extension...

but the key to all of this is this.......

SOME clipper fans LOVVVVE IT......every draft..every year.. willing to pretend that the next guy is kobe brayant letting go of the guy who was a key player...

thats why some clipper fans say ricky rubio over baron davis.....they love losing ...

if this was any other franchise, fans would be angry, but not us.......

I CANT WAIT TILL THE 2010 DRAFT

We can always trade for talent. Cap flexibility is probably more important than the hope of a would-be free agent.

Just no more panic trades for overinflated players with troubled pasts.

Free agents defect every summer (ask the Pistons). And there will always be teams looking to dump pieces (ask the Bucks).

teams dump but we never take em...(ask dunleavy) well we did one year... 06 season... thats cause his job was on the line..

its hard to say this but dont compare the detroit pistons organization to ours..... people wannnnt to go there...big difference
