I vehemently stand by my opinion that the Tim Thomas signing was a mistake. He proved to be inconsistent and lazy with Milwaukee (i live in Wisconsin, so i know this, lol). He was a total bust for the Knicks. He played well with Phoenix in the playoffs. Big deal, one point in time after college and his NBA fallout, he breaks out and shoots well. Now I'm not saying he's lacking on the effort this season. You can tell by his rebounding numbers. But after behind pretty much kicked out NBA teams for the past several years, after not living up to his potential, he suddenly gets another life with the Suns. Well he got another life and got another contract. But as you can see, his shooting is horrendous. We have plenty of guys who can shoot the ball. HE SHOULDNT !!! Singleton should be playing Thomas's minutes. PERIOD. He can rebound just as well if not better, he plays much much better defense, he works 100 times harder and every time we see him go in, he does well. I just dont get why Thomas plays all the time, and James doesnt.

What do you guys think?? And will we see a change ???

I hope Tim Thomas can turn it around. Personally I think he's doing too much 1-on-1. I don't mind the open shots but I've seen too much drive-n-brick from him. I hope Singleton improves on his outside game- I'm not sure if he's a better shooter than last year, but we sure haven't had much of a chance to find out. I think that if he can show Dunleavy that he has a consistent mid-range he would probably play more minutes. I love seeing him go to war out there though- he's tremendously athletic and his effort can't be questioned.

I'd rather see him just camping at the 3 point line and shooting those. His outside shots, even though he's been missing lately, seem to have a better chance of going in than his post ups or layups. He's just been awful inside and trying to go one on one. He does need to improve...or his minutes need to be cut.

TT is struggling right now but I still believe in his possibilities...About Singleton I only can say that in my opinion Dunleavy doesn't like him...He's becoming a fan favourite only because Dunleavy doesn't give him oportunities to explode.Well, and because the little time he playes he fights every ball and when the quality players doesn't respond to the challenge maybe it could be time for the warriors:Ewing,Singleton&Co.

Hmm...interesting perspective Miquel. If they go with what David and Benoit are saying, we can just have him focus on shooting, give him less minutes (bring him in when we need some points quick), but Singleton should be doing the other stuff they are expecting Thomas to do (especially inside). I'll rework what i said a bit...He may have not been a burden to pick up, but he needs to be a "jar on the shelf". Cause he isn't good enough to relied upon.

miquel there's a lot of truth to what your thinking about how dunlevy feels about Singleton... He deserves to play.. Any questions about his shooting ability can be answered if you watch him when the team has to be on the court to shoot.. I'm always there with my kids and hour b4 tip off watching them warm up and the singleton can stroke it..

I think it's too late in Tim Thomas career to "turn things around." There's some truth that you can't teach an old dog new tricks. What you saw from the Suns is pretty much the best you'll get from Thomas (which is still pretty good). But keep in mind Steve Nash makes everyone he plays with better; that's why he's the two-time MVP.

Either way, I still think Thomas is better than Vladi.

I'll agree with you that Thomas is better than RadMan. At least Thomas can move, lol.
