| I like Mike Taylor as a 3rd point guard on our team. But it looks like the Clips are going to use Eric Gordon as the 3rd PG if someone goes down with injury. |

| Really, was there even a doubt? Unless he can perfect an outside shot and remain teachable at the PG spot, i see him having limited success in the NBA...if that. |

^^^To his defense, Taylor's a talented guy with lots of athleticism who may yet work himself into a serviceable player.
What some people don't understand though is that Taylor getting regular minutes on this team is basically like sacrificing wins just for the chance of hoping he gets better. He wasn't going to help win games for us now. We're better off seeing if Telfair can grow into a future starter. He seems to be doing just fine as backup, and maybe his presence is keeping Baron on his toes (the way some people think Griffin is keeping Kaman on his toes).
One other thing I'd like to mention: DJ used to hang out a lot with Taylor, and it seemed like they would always be goofing around. With Taylor gone, DJ's been hanging out with Blake, working-working-working, and it seems like it's paying dividends.
I realize people will look for any excuse to grouse about Dunleavy; but bellyaching over Taylor just seems like a reach, IMO. |

He showed the ability a few times last year. In that Knick game, he dominated. There's a lot of successful point guards that cannot shoot from the outside (our own backup would fall into this category).
The problem with Taylor was he seemed uncoachable, not able to control the chaos. He always seemed to be going to fast for his own good but the environments he was in facilitated this attitude. Our team was a wreck by the time he was playing in the second half of the year. He's a second round draft choice trying to prove himself and he tried too hard sometimes. Similar situation in summer league. Again trying to prove how great he is when he should have been trying to show how he can control a game.
Dude will get another shot with somebody and most likely this year. |

i like that. that'll develop gordons passing. i dont know, i kinda see him like a gilbert arenas. type of player. a scorer that can get you 7-8 assists a game. or maybe more of a dwayne wade.. |
