Hey Joe i couldn't find the "Everything else" forum so i understand if you move this. Just please let me know how to get there!

For those who haven't seen this movie OMG.... I haven't seen such an epic, amazing film since the Lord Of The Rings trilogy. This movie will keep you glued for all 3 hours. Great story (though cliche Military man vs Indigenous people. Much like Dances with Wolves or Pocahontas but who cares!), good acting, ground breaking GCI. Just simply incredible. It's one of those rare films where it can make you laugh, cry, smile, depressed and put you deep in thought all in the same time frame.

Update: James Cameron said in an interview yesterday on MTV that if this film was successful it's slated to be a trilogy (he hinted it was successful and 77 million opening day agrees). The lead actor Sam Worthington is already signed for 3 films. The filming will likely be similar to Lord Of The Rings where they film the last 2 at the same time and release them within a year of each other. WOOOOOHOOO!

Go Clips,,,and since they are out of town,,go see this movie but ONLY IF you can see it in 3D and especially in IMAX 3D.

The buzz before the movie was it will be a ground breaking film as Star Wars was in the 70s, as far as technology and the visuals. It's true. Also, when test run the producers discovered that it really appealed to males over 30, way more then they expected. I am almost twice over 30,,,,lets just say it was like 2 1/2 hours of my college years at party time.

Just realized my 1,000th post was solely "Go Clippers"

No need to get too crazy. Keep it simple right?

Haha yea for the sappy romance parts I'm surprised i loved it so much. I agree that 3D is probably the best way to view it. Notice on Fandango the non 3D nets fan rating of 4 out of 5 stars the 3D nets a 5 out of 5. It's because you're glued the entire time to the amazing visuals. Man such an enjoyable flick. I'm taking my girlfriend's parents this Friday. I'll talk them into it!

I just saw it- it's pretty good. I think the 3D effects could have been more pronounced, but it was very good overall. Very engaging story and beautiful visuals. Some parts were yeah a bit sappy though. I do find myself having even more appreciation for nature. We humans have a great responsibility to not defile our natural environment.

Interesting thing is that I saw Inglorious Basterds last night, and the main villain is just crazy creepy. The scarred guy from Avatar's got nothing on him.
