I'm going to disagree Clipperboy. Lebron has stated countless times he wants to be the first billionare athlete. Cleveland can offer him 1 more year than anyone else of a max deal. I wish we could have Lebron but him leaving Cleveland would be the ultimate betrayal. It would be equivalent to Jordan leaving the bulls in his prime. I hope Lebron proves to everyone that he DOES have some loyalty and it's not about the money. The fans of Cleveland have embraced Bron more than Chicago did Jordan and that's alot!
All the Cleveland sports teams like the Indians all know Lebron and the entire city worships him. I wouldn't leave Cleveland if I knew I turned a perennial losing team into legit title contenders and the franchise has done a lot trying to bring talent to appease me. Not to mention EVERY SINGLE game is sold out weeks in advance and Cleveland desperately needs some hope since much like us they have been terrible since the beginning. Maybe it's their turn for a cinderella story and not ours.
If Lebron is as humble and loyal as he seems normally he will absolutely re sign with the Cavs. Why would he go to the Knicks terribly low talented team? Why would he go to the Nets when the only serious talent they have is Brook Lopez and the always injured Devin Harris? Why would he go to the Clippers when he ALREADY has a guarantee almost every year for AT LEAST a conference finals appearance. He needs to stick with his team.
