One of the lone bright spots for the Sacramento Kings has been the play of Tyreke Evans. Now, the potential rookie of the year's season could be in jeopardy. Evans will not play Sunday as the Kings try to avoid a third straight loss when they visit the Los Angeles Clippers. Sacramento (23-46) has the third-worst record in the Western Conference and has dropped 12 of 17, but it's optimistic about the future with Evans - who leads all rookies with 20.3 points per game - as the key piece it wants to build the franchise around. Evans' current season, though, is in doubt....

If Tyreke isn't gonna be the one to torch us tomorrow...I wonder who will. This game should be easily winnable.

Great job by Baron to point out that OBVIOUS delay of game or taking an extra shot on what should have been an inbound for us. I hope we get something out of it.

We still have a chance though- have to play tough D and take good shots on offense.

Deandre has become one of my favorite clips. Him and Steve Blake are awesome together. I think outlaw is just a bad fit for this team. Much rather see rasual in there. Hopefully we can make a run to finish this one out

Apparently Gordon doesn't think the game is over yet- GREAT effort.

Did I mention I'd rather have butler in there? That was a sequence!

Kaman's been lost because every team is playing "anybody but Kaman" When he even looks at the paint he doubled and tripled. I'm again changing my mind and eating my shorts about DJ. He'll be ready next year. Blake was finally shooting. He's a little too much "past first" Usually they don't guard him. Baron was great. When Butler is cold we have problems.

Clipper nation still rocked the house even late in the game.

Can Piatkawski still play?

Another chance lost to get to 30 by season's end. With Evan's out, that was as close to a win this season as you can get. This one reminded me of that Black Sunday back a few seasons ago where we were basically eliminated from play-off contention.

The kings and a Sunday afternoon do not mix well. lol

The good thing about this game was EJ. I think all of my reservations were gone today. EJ has arrived.

By the way, is anyone else seeing this at the top of the page?:

Thanks Sam!

Oh, and I was also impressed by Blake, too. Hell, even DJ impressed me...on the defensive end. I know I knock him on the offensive end but wow!

Too bad we lost.

Sorry about that guys- the message should be gone now- it was a glitch that occurred from moving the site to a new (and faster) server. Please let me know if you guys are still seeing it or anything weird ASAP!

The team is just playing out the string... A little perk up for the Milwaukee game on TV, but otherwise this is a pretty heartless bunch right now... It's not just us... The race for the lottery is on.

If you look at the last ten game record for teams out of contention it's; 1-9, 1-9, 0-10, 2-8, 2-8, 2-8, 2-8, 3-7, 3-7... Sacremento and New York are both 4 - 6... About the only two losers still putting up a fight.

It'll be hard to catch some of those teams on the way down to the bottom. Smile

I know Sam, everynight I hope that Philly, Sac, NY, or Minny win, but they are just as awful as us...we can't even lose consistently. I bet this group will win just enough games to get us out of a good draft position and it will be Baron Davis' sorry ass to put up a good game when it doesn't count lol

With no nationally televised games left I predict we get 2-3 more wins this season. Does anyone know when the new cap numbers get announced for the upcoming season?

I could realistically see Kaman getting traded to Detroit for Prince this offseason and Baron convincing Chris Bosh to sign with us. I just hope who ever is GM can use our pieces to get sign and trades done so we aren't just a solid starting lineup with all minimum contract bench guys.

Don't you know, we are waiting for Bron to pick the FO.

Chris is having problems adjusting to this new pseudo system but trading him after a few ugly games is a bit premature but who knows what's going to happen this off-season. Dismantling the team once again would not surprise one bit.

I remember that game well. That may be the game that most irritated me as a Clipper fan . . . and that's saying something. I think that one was at home too.

Kaman for Prince is not our answer... Kaman is younger and much more valuable than Prince.

I agree... not for Prince. For Bosh straight up. Or for a really talented waterboy.

^^^ Bosh> Waterboy

You need to give Bosh a little more credit. Very Happy

Trade Kaman for Andre Iguodola.....I just wanted to join in on the "Trade Kaman" bandwagon. Smile

If we can't land LeBron, Joe Johnson, or even Rudy Gay to fill in at our starting SF spot next year, we need to put Kaman on the trading block this summer to help us land one. Iguodola seems like the one who may be likely on the move this summer and I'd offer Kaman in a heartbeat. If only the Sixers felt the same way.

PG-Baron Davis

SG-Eric Gordon

SF-Andre Iguodola

PF-Blake Griffin

C-DeAndre Jordan

Not bad. But if we do stink it up again next season in typical Clipper fashion, we'll at least be exciting.

Good thought, but we really don't need any new additions. I think these players just need to stop by the market and buy some heart
