The Clippers will look for revenge against the Spurs when the teams play tonight at Staples Center. San Antonio played the Lakers last night so fatigue may be a factor for the visiting team. Unfortunately since the Spurs lost they will no doubt be more determined to win tonight. But let's see if the Clippers can contain Tony Parker's dribble penetration tonight and perhaps more importantly not leave open shooters on the perimeter.

I'm sure that at Staples it gonna be a lot different...As David says they were defeated by the lakers last night so it means they will be in alert but the other read you can do about this loss is that they aren't in a great moment despite the easy victory over the Clips...We must forget all the trade rumours and be focused in our work.We can't play thinking if Magg is traded, if Livi...It's all about the Clippers when we have a game.We are Maggette,Livi,Brand,Ewing,Singleton...:the CLIPPERS!!Com'on CLIPS!

Definately. If the Clippers can win here, I think it would go off as the biggest win of the season thus far. Remember, the Spurs are coming off of back-to-back games and will be looking for revenge after losing to the Lakers. The Clippers need to know that no team disrespects their homecourt.

I suppose that the results showed that the Spurs were like dogs who haven't eaten in weeks while the Clippers were as hungry as Johnny after Grandma's deluxe Thanksgiving feast.

I mean even though Kaman, Maggette, and Cassell couldn't play, you expected a better result than this. They pretty much lost the same exact way as on Friday- letting Parker, Ginobilli, and Barry beat them. With the Spurs you kind of have to pick your poison, but you can't keep letting the same guys beat you like that. Guys need to look themselves in the mirror and wonder why they couldn't move their feet faster and play smarter. With Parker you need to always play him to drive and close it hard when you know he's going to shoot. And if he waltzes into the lane like that you can't be standing there trying to take a charge- you have to go hard for the block and knock the guy down. Same thing with Ginobili. And obviously never ever leave Barry open- I just don't understand why the Clippers give him so many open shots. As for Duncan don't even double team him- that's where the trouble starts a lot of times- as soon as the double comes he passes it back out and the ball gets swung around outside to an open shooter.

Also I don't think the Clippers took enough of an advantage of Livingston's height in the post against Parker. The few times they got the ball to Shaun inside positive things happened. But it seemed like once Parker started to front Shaun the Clippers just gave up that play. Come on- there must be more than one play to get Livingston the ball in the post.

On the bright side guys like Singleton, Ewing, Davis, and even Korolev played quite a bit. Davis especially played pretty well- he actually lead the Clippers with 15 points.

Okay.. I know i dont talk much and most of you have never seen me before, but i am big fan and have been with this team for many years and i am on this site like twice a day maybe even more Smile But i just cannot hold my silence anymore ...

Todays game was just awful, what is going on with the team? This is supposed to be the year for us. one thing is for sure, clips are not playing from the heart. i can see that clearly, I think the coach has to have a real talk with his guys and let them know they are not going anywhere until they start playing with a passion to win.

YES!!! After watching the Spurs blow out the Clippers by 29 points in San Antonio, I told all my buddies (Laker fans of course) that it was a fluke and that the Clippers were better than that. Tonight, they ONLY lost by 22! I was right...we are better than that!

Seriously though, I don't care how short handed you are; you should come out with a better effort after being waxed by the same team only 3 days earlier. This team just doesn't have it. Iverson's 30+ points sure could have helped us out tonight! : )

First of all welcome 619!Wink!Great to sse you post here...Now talking about the loss it seems that my encouraging words haven't worked...This team seems headed to anywhere, more if they play without the necessary effort that a NBA team is suposed to play with.let's forget the spurs.they simply are better than us.when I have seen the stats I got surprised by Magg's absence.i know they say it's because an injury but in my mind I thought it was because a trade is going to happen soon...After seeing that Livi still doesn't work I wouldn't doubt if we had to trade him to get a player like Ray or Rashard or Pierce...This team needs a winner.Cassell is often injured and we don't have a boss on the court

What's the deal with maggette and kaman not playing tonight...and moreover, neither one of them was in the building tonight. I was at this game and neither one was on the bench in street clothes. I saw that corey has a bruised knee and is listed as day-to-day but kaman was a projected starter... anyone else think this has anything to do with a trade?

Iverson to LA! Although that leaves the center spot pretty bare... even with Paul Davis Very Happy .

First of all welcome bbeerryce! It seems that the Clippers are not interested in Iverson- here's a recent comment from Mike Dunleavy:

Dunleavy, on the prospect of the 76ers trading Allen Iverson: "I hope they make the deal with [a team in] the East, to be honest with you."

Welcome clipfan619! Well it's all doom and gloom right now but the Clippers can turn it around. They are 10 and 10 right now- might as well be 0-0 with a fresh start on Wednesday. Hopefully Kaman gets much better, Maggette returns, and Sam gets better by then. They need to watch some film, have a good solid practice and try to regain their confidence. A win against the Jazz will do wonders Smile.

Yeah, if you actually went to that game I feel sorry for you. The Clippers were a fish out of water the entire game. As Clippers fans, I think we really deserve better than this. The Clippers gotta learn to be just as hungary as their fans are. Wink

Yeah I know...this was about the 9th game I've been to this season. While the Clippers haven't played great all season, with the exception of the Orlando game, this was the first game where I wanted to go ask for a refund. It was really just a wasted of time going, especially when I expected much more fight. Yes, they were shorthanded but that's no excuse...put in the effort at least.
