Look I don't care what he did in summer league where most of players can't spell defense..he's NEVER shown he's a shooter in NBA...injury or not. He can't defend or create his own shot. He been, IMO the prototypical bust.....summer league not withstanding.

And as far as Aminu goes you seemed to be convinced that he's not a SF and never will be because you think he's fundamentally unskilled...ok your opinion...we'll see only time will tell.

I watched Babbitt last night and he would have been better off being on the bench. He just wandered around helplessly and seamed to be invisible to his team mates. George will probably be the best in the long run , unless Aminu was just stunned by the bright lights and will come around in the next few games.

An analyst compared him to Luke Jackson and from Monday's performance it looks like a fair comparison.

George looks like he has some real star potential and hopefully Aminu will outshine him.

As for Ammo, i guess if we have he money we dont really have anything to lose to sign him for the min. The guy is definitely more mobile than Novak and IMO plays better D which isnt saying much of anything.

He has definitely had his confidence crushed so i think a new start is necessary

So far George is shooting .333% from the field (22 of 66) and .115% (3 for 26) from the 3pt line....

Oh no, please tell me this isn't true.. PLEASE! He may still have some un-tapped potential, but I just can't stand the site of him (I don't care whether he's on the court, on the bench, in street clothes, whatever). Bottom line: DON'T SIGN HIM!

WTH does this mean regarding Morrison?

"The Clippers, though, are reluctant to move without seeing Morrison in a five-on-five scrimmage, but Morrison is reluctant to take that route at this time."

-I can't post links. I got this from Hoopsworld.

So Morrison doesn't even want to play in a scrimmage to have a chance at our team? Stay in Washington then!

BTW Livingston is about to be signed by the Bobcats.....too bad.

well captain argument, there is more than just the shooting %from a few games. He rebounded well, played good D, and had some great plays.

Granger has had insane shooting slumps and i a prtty sure he is still considered a good player. The guy just started in the pros and showed some serious potential.

Isn't that a solid argument? It's not really subjective, it's just reality. He has no guard skills. In the NBA, small forwards need to have guard skills. Maybe he'll be a rare case where he learns not only to shoot from the outside but also to handle the ball...All while playing in the NBA. Those are skills most would say you need to learn in junior high and high school. Not when you're already in the pros.

I haven't read the whole thread, but DUDE, didn't you say you didn't watch the first Clipper Summer league game? And even if you did see it, those are some pretty strong statements on Aminu based on very little observation of him playing. We knew Aminu was raw when we drafted him. Give him time to develop. I think he does have the handles to be a 3, it was just obvious that most of his mistakes were mental because he was nervous and timid.

I'm hoping Olshey has tricks up his sleeve like Dunleavy did when he acquired Sual, etc.

And for those who are saying you'd wish Thornton was back? No. He and Gomes are virtually the same player - 2 guys who produced similar numbers on bad teams, although Gomes is a better 3pt shooter. Taking Thornton back in place of Gomes doesn't improve our squad much, if at all. We need a SIGNIFICANT upgrade.

Calm down...just pointing out that it's just the summer league and not to get too negative or too positive regarding the players performance.......we can all dissect them to fit our own reality......

Captain Argument...chuckle..your a funny guy.

You guys just don't understand what the front office is trying to do. Rather than acquiring the big three like those idiots in Miami we are going for the small six...Foye, Gomes, Cook, Morrison, and two other scrubs. Simple arithmetic...6>3 brilliant

50% with you... I just want to see NOVAK for one more season... I have one more photo i need signed... lol...

I think morrison would be much better then novak but novak has a higher shotting percentage (maybe because morrison hasn't played in 2yrs) at the same time morrison has ssaid himself.. i have not felt 100% since my injury... not sure if this is a 2mill gamble the clippers should take... use the 2mill and get a star player... LIKE......? (someone help me here)

LOL morrison is so bad he didnt even get picked up....gomes is a much better defender than u give him credit for if you say morrison is better. And sure morrison could hit lights out in practice, but couldnt hit even a lay up in games.

IMO gomes > morrison by miles!

Sincerely I've never watched any complete game from Morrison so maybe you are right but I guess it shouldn't be very difficult to be better than Gomes (worst SF starter in the league?)

I doubt Morrison is worse than Gomes Since I believe your our fellow Clipper fan in Spain here's a few nuggets of information you may want to chew on before you say that again... During college at Gonzaga this is what Adam Morrison did.... FG% year 1 - 53.1% year 2 - 49.8 year 3 - 49.6 3Pt% year 1 - 30.4 year 2 - 31.1 year 3 - 42.8 He also managed a 75% FT shooting % over his career shooting over 5 a....
