Hello fellow Clippers Die Hards Fans,

I hope this is not against forum policy, but I wanted to see if anyone was interested in splitting my Clippers season tickets which are a pair in ROW 1 practically on the court!!. They are the Best seats in Staples Center dollar for dollar. What I mean is my season tickets are ROW 1!!!, The row right behind the Courtside seats (which courtside are $30,000+ for season, mine are fraction of that). Row 1 is the BEST WAY to impress clients or guests you bring to the game. It's an unbelievable experience!

Please note, I'm not trying to make any money off of you. Your cost would be exactly what I pay the Clippers for the seats. This includes me passing along my discount for buying the entire season, even though you would only be buying a portion of the season. I'm just passing along my great seats to real fans, rather than selling to Barry's tickets who wants to buy the seats from me at my cost and then add huge premiums to seats like these when selling them to fans.

I have these seats available because I get invited to Clippers select-a-seat practically as the doors open (your invitation time is a priority system based on how many years you have been with the team) and got amazingly lucky that someone could not afford to renew. Row 1 tickets never become available. It took the perfect storm of Blake Griffin getting hurt entire season, + team clearing cap room for Lebron and missing, + the recession to make this possible. Once in a lifetime chance as this team is going to start winning and these tickets will be HOT and NEVER available again. All good seats this close to the court are sold out, feel free to call the Clippers and inquire prior to contacting me. In the event you do find good seats in row 15 or something, you will need to buy the entire season (43 games x 2 seats) which is extremely expensive. I'm looking for a long term partner as I'll explain below.

Where the seats are:

Section 107, ROW 1

  • behind the basket, so close you can TALK during free throws, NO NEED to scream, and the players can hear you!!

  • For those of you that don't know Staples Center, these seats are the 3rd row from the actual court, whereas rows 1 and 2 are courtside seats and cost a fortune compared to my seats.

  • The actual row my seats are in is Row B, Row A does not exist in this section so B is your real row 1.

Face Value is $130 to $150 per seat, per game (some games have higher face value for Clippers games including Lakers, Celtics, and Heat). Keep in mind face value does not take into consideration these are Row 1.

Your cost would be what I pay with my discount at only $95 per seat, per game for Row 1 seats. The people in front of you are paying Way more, the people behind you are paying the same price for worse seats.

I am not willing to sell these tickets 1 game at a time as its too much of a headache. I'm looking for fans that want to experience Row 1 Clippers action for a minimum of 5 games, which at $95 per seat totals $950.

Dividing Up Season will be done extremely fair to all parties:

We can iron out exact details upon you contacting me. The two best options are 1. figuring out what percentage of the season you want, and alternating games accordingly. So if you want half the season, you take every other game. if you want 1/3, you take every 3rd game, etc. 2. The other option is we divide up playoff team games and non playoff team games, then assign every other game, or every 3rd game, while making sure that 53% (percentage of teams that make the playoffs) of your games are for playoff team games, 47% are for non-playoff team games. This percentage can be altered a bit if you get a Lakers or Heat games as these Row 1 seats to those games are sure to resell for $300 + per seat, per game.

I'm looking for long term partners:

You will have the option the following season to have up to the same amount of games you purchased this season with your price always being what my cost is. So this is your chance to have row 1 seats for as long as many seasons as you would like.

Safety:

Prior to any official arrangement you can 1. see a copy of the invoice between the Clippers and myself for these seats, as well as 2. call the Clippers office directly and confirm with my senior account rep that I have the seats and am an upstanding season ticket holder. Finally, 3. We can create whatever type of written contract you feel comfortable with. I am an honest, good person. Plus if any funny business went down I would lose my season tickets which I would never risk as it took me FOREVER to get seats SO close to the court!

To contact me:

Email me at JPMarino99@aol.com

Please don't write rude comments on this tread or to my email. I'm just a good fan trying to help out other good Clippers fans rather than selling my season tickets to Barrys tickets who would chareg a premium to all you fans who call them buying tickets to a few games at a time.

Sounds good Clipperman. Always here to help the Clippers faithful. My fall back plan is selling to the local ticket brokers to help me afford these amazing seats, but finding a few loyal fans to split the tickets with each year is far more ideal to you fans and me. It's up to you if you want to buy the seats again next year, and years that follow, but we'll put it in writing you have that option.

This really is a once in a lifetime chance. Once the Clippers start having a winning record, these seats will be untouchable for years to come or Blake Griffin retirement.

So far a few people have emailed me and it all looks like its going to work great. I wanted to update everyone that the schedule doesn't come out for another 7 to 10 days. So let me know now if you are interested, and when the schedule comes out we can get serious about dividing up the games so people get what they're looking for. The goal would be to have everything in place and games broken down in two weeks from now.

Regarding when you would pay:, after verifying with Clippers I own the seats and am current on all my bills (over 50% of the seats will be paid for by the time the schedule comes out), only a very small deposit would be needed. The majority of the seats cost you would exchange for the actual tickets once I have them in my possession about two weeks before the season begins.

The schedule always comes out during the first week of August. So in 5 to 12 days from now the schedule will be out.

I know have 3 people interested in 5 games, and 1 person very serious about a half season. If anyone else is interested, please email in next day or two. Once schedule is released in a week, I plan on having everything done and tickets divided up fairly very quickly.

Any of you who have spoken to me know I have been very open, fair, and quick about answering your questions. If anyone is hesitant because it sounds too good to be true, keep in mind I have given everyone who were serious about buying the tickets the right to see the invoice (includes my home address), call Clippers and confirm I own the seats and they are mostly paid off, or even meet me at my home I own and live in which is in Redondo Beach.

Since the Clippers aren't offering a pairing program anymore, we have to search for our own season ticket partners. 44 games a year are just too much for anyone to attend, so I'm looking for a partner to split the season package.

There are two seats in Section 116 and we'd split the 44 games in a draft-like style. Please let me know if you're interested!

As season tickets get discounts, the total price for the season would be $4400. As each of us would split it, the price for each party would be $2200.

If interested in even buying a quarter of the season, please contact me via PM.

Thank you Smile

P.S. We also get priority for playoff tickets (hopefully we get to see it)

I am looking to buy half a season or whatever available from a season ticket holder. I was season ticket holder until a couple years ago where financially I had to give them up.

Let me know if you are interested in splitting with someone. I am really only interested in really good tickets.

I cant post a link on here but respond in this thread and we can work something out.

I am. I was a STH too until 2 years ago. But I can't do really good tickets,,i can do 200s or baseline 100s (like 115,116). I MAy have someone else from here interested in splitting too but I have to explore all possibillities. I do still have a STH account though.

If I were you I would call the Clipper ticket folks and ask if they have a current season ticket holder looking to split.

I have split my season with another fellow the last three years, my ticket rep Rob Strikwerda does an awesome job of splitting the season evenly so not one person gets all the "good" games.

This is where the confusion lies. I did do that once with a fellow and when I dropped my deposti they told me it will now be different because they (the reps) cna't hane the splitting anymore after the "draft",,so it is supposed ot be every other game. I wonder if they take into account someone may get all the good games and someone the stinkers doing it that way.

I talked to alex about that, she said you could split them however you wanted to amongst the sth only if possible and if needed the rep could do it for each party

I talked to her also,,I think i am getting a clearer picture.

I think they prefer someone to be the lone season ticketholder on record even though both paid for the seats. Then I think they want the two partners to work on their own to pick thier games with no help. If that doesn't work, then they (the reps) will do the work by the alternating method.

I talked to her boss last Sat and my guess is if you do it that way(only 1 record STH),,only the STH gets to go to STH events and playoffs and gets those MVP prises. IF you let them do the split for you, both get alternate playoff tix and get to go to the MVP events,,but no one will get those silly prises because you wouldn't accumulate enough points.

I personaly want games seats and playoff seats,,I don't need prises (but I do like the events). But I do like your current location..........

I may be trying that next year too,my problem is I can only go to weekend games, when everyone wants to go. And it is silly but within a week or so they are going to ask us to renew. At least college football let's the season end before they ask,but the NBA is the worst and MLB ain't far behind.
