Man I need to vent..... I have been a STH since 2003. As you guys know it has been rough. But I have maintained my loyalty. I really only get to go to like 10 games and I usually split the season with someone. This year I feel the front office pulled a fast one! They have warned us that May 21st was the deadline to renew your seats. They advertised no increase in cost. I renewed. I have 2 Seats (Row 3, Aisle) in Sec 209. Face value $60, Cost $34 (last Year's Price). Well this morning I....

that is ridiculous. i think you have every right to be frustrated. Games will be a lot harder to unload for a lot of those games. Doesnt make sense because you never know what will happen in the league. Obv. Heat and Lakers tix are most in demand but you never know when another team will get hot.

Makes you wonder what kind of a fan you can be when they blow you away like that.

Sorry the bottom line...

The Face Value (Door Price, written on tickets) have been $60.

My tickets for the season cost $34. (So there is a value in buying the season)

However, the day I received my tickets (yesterday) a letter was sent explaining varied pricing. Now every game has a different Face Value (some as low as $25)

Now the average Face Value is $43 for the season vs $60.

I don't mind the varied pricing, but they should have explained that it in the renewal packet or wait til next year... vary shady...

I run my own business and I would never do this to ANY customer.

That is such BS. That is important information to have when making the decision to renew or not. I'm sure they were planning this all along and knew that if they explained this prior to the renewal deadline they would see a drop in sales. Shady.

Seems like Sterling has been asking Frank McCourt for some more advice on how to screw fans over. Not that Sterling needs any advice.

Most teams offer no discount for a full season ticket package. Sure it sucks, but you're still getting a great discount.

True, but most business owners don't tell you are getting a product for 44% off face value and take your money in May and then in Oct give you a product that is actually only 21% off face value!

More than the money... it is the principle of customer loyalty and how they handled it...

I was a season ticket holder a few years ago and I don't think I will go back as long as DTS is the owner.

Weather it was $245 or $225, now your average is like $163 Face Value. I understand if you go to all the games it is no big deal, but if you give/ sell some.. it will impact you.
