To celebrate the start of the brand new Clippers season I am running a contest- whoever can most closely predict the result & the score of Friday's game vs. Golden State will receive a $25 Restaurant.com gift certificate via email. So post your predictions between now and tipoff time on 11/2! In case of a tie the person who posted their prediction earlier will win. Good luck all!
BTW the $25 Restaurant.com GC is only good in the USA, so if you're outside the US and you win you can forward it to someone else in the US who can use it, or you can sponsor a new contest here. |

Sure thing! I personally think it'll be Clippers 110, Warriors 106. But anyone can pick Golden State to win to help alleviate the disappointment in case the Clippers lose. So there's no rule against picking GS. |

| Wow none of us really expected the score to be so high, and by a slim margin I think clippal has won the contest with a differential of -20! (-2 for Clippers score, and -18 for the Warriors score). DWB barely missed out on winning with a differential of -21 (-12 for the Clippers score, & -9 for the Warriors score). So congrats Clippal!!! as the game progressed I knew the clippers would get to my point total. i was getting upset with the lack of "d" but it was a good win for the team. the most important thing i took from the game is that in the last two minutes mobley stepped up and was a go to guy and put the game away. i've seen the clippers for too many years play good games and then get beat in the end because the team lacked some one to do this. this team has a few such as cassell, mobley & thomas. chris kaman was the KAMANATOR tonite, he earned his paycheck that's for sure.
despite their record the sonics look better than i thought, let's hope for a win to go 2-0 and extend our lead atop the pacific division! |
