| It's a clash of 3-0 teams as the Clippers visit the Pacers. It'll also be Dunleavy Sr. vs Jr- first time with Jr as a Pacer. Danny Granger was the Player of the Week last week- let's see if Ruben Patterson and Q Ross can slow him down. Let's go Clips- 4 and 0 baby! |

| Yep, the Pacers and the Pistons are a great test for us. I think our momentum and confidence definitely gives us a chance to beat Indiana even after playing last night. Our depth is scary and it's probably the reason Q-Ross hardly played yesterday. I expect a hard fought battle. The Pacers are playing really well, but so are we. |

| I actually don't see the Pacers as big of a challenge as the Bulls were, but obviously they're not 3 and 0 for nothing so we'll see. Plus this is a back to back for us. Dunleavy Jr. is actually leading them in rebounds at 9/game so the guys will have to keep him off the boards and not leave him alone beyond the arc. |

| I saw the game they played versus the Grizz and they were on fire the whole night. Dunleavy hit every shot he made and the same for Granger. But if I must be sincere I'm so confident with Q and Patt that I'm not afraid of them...Diogu was playing well but I've seen he's injured so better for us. Let's if we can keep on killing some more teams in this road trip. Go Clips! |

Unless the Bulls get angry enough to beat the Pistons, looks like another matchup of undefeated teams. Play more team basketball and we got a great shot at beating Detroit.
I'm waiting to hear comments on the game for those of you who listened or watched....SO LET IT ROAR!!! |

Because of the forum, i was able to watch the my first clipper regular season game of the new year. ooo we lookinggg gooddd. Cassell and Mobley wow. way to be the team captains, Maggette is his actually playing a lot smarter basketball i think. Q is playing w/ more confidence and more aggression. Tim Thomas is draining Three's like no tomororwwww. and Kaman, the surprise of the year so far. yikes.
YAY WE"RE 4-0!!!!
detriot will be a real challenge. the bulls are struggling this year, so that win was ok. indiana was undefeated b4 today, but they're indiana. Detriot, on the other hand, are a legit team. so if we keep playing like we did, and beat detroit. yes. we are at the top of the league for the time being.
Hopefully Mobley Patterson and Knight all recover quick and are in full swing when we head to Motown.

I just finished watching it (couldn't watch it live)- awesome job again by the guys, esp. in the 2nd half! Cassell and Kaman were just incredible tonight. Sammy racked up 35 points in the absence of Cat Mobley. He was just ON FIRE- the Sam of old. The Pacers had no chance- he'd post up Tinsley, and if they play him too tight he'd drive, and too much space he'd nail the 3. WOW! And how about Chris Kaman- 15 points and 22(!) rebounds! Man he keeps this up he'd be an All-Star for sure! Al Thornton played pretty good too- his best game so far with 13 and 7. He brought energy and got to a lot of loose balls.
The guys really clamped down on D and just gobbled up all the rebounds (esp. offensive rebounds) in the 2nd half. If was kind of interesting to see Cat all suited up in a jacket and slacks (quickly too) after he injured his groin in the first quarter. Man I really hope he won't be out for long but it doesn't look too good. He needs to get that healed up 100% before he plays again. I'm not sure what happened to Patterson- he played briefly and then boom I saw him on the bench all dressed up in civilian clothes too in the 2nd half. Knight didn't play so he must've been injured too. Just what we need huh? But again great team play, effort, and defense was the key. 4 and 0 baby!
Now let's see how they do vs. the Pistons- that's gonna be another quite the challenge. Like u said JLemm it'd probably be another battle of the unbeaten teams. If Mobley doesn't play it'll be tough, but heck they're certainly playing the right way and doing a great job. Whatever happens as long as they play hard I'd have no complaint! Go Clips! |

Here are some quotes from tonight's victory:
---
"He's (Cassell) older than dirt, but he gets it done," Clippers center Chris Kaman joked. "He can still shoot the basketball."
Cassell sent a message to those who wonder if his skills have diminished.
"You think I can't do it? Just sit back and watch," he said. "These guys on my team know I can play, I just happen to be 37 years old."
"I try to take advantage of the opportunities I'm given," Kaman said. "I know what I've got to do. I'm no Elton Brand -- I don't have that game. I just wanted to try to help fill in where he's missing."
"Collectively as a group, we go into each and every game the underdog," Cassell said. "If you don't play hard against us, we will beat you."
"In training camp, our motto was 'Believe,"' Corey Maggette said. "We've gotten off to a great start, and we just have to keep it up."

| The Clipps blow out an undefeated team without Brand,Mobley, Knight and Patterson and an injured #50????? As far as Caiman I"m getting ahead of myself but possible allstar. We need to get Davis going and there are no weak links. These guys are hungry. I hope Patterson is back for Detroit because we'll need his D. I hope Q can get his offense going because we'll need him to play D as well. |

| Yeah good points toohip- Paul Davis has been pretty tentative offensively out there and Q hasn't been exactly stroking it from the outside. Also I'm a little concerned with Dickau's play last night- he did not look good. He over penetrated and missed 3 out of 4 free throws. Hopefully Dan will do better- I mean he played pretty well the other game. |

| Regarding Thornton's performance last night: The box score will show he took alot of 3-pointers. Two of them were half court heaves at the end of quarters. So the box score unfairly reflects poor shooting. He looked good (a few mistakes but more good hustle and shooting) overall. |
