Kaman isn't close to coming back soon...

Lisa Dillman says Rhino & Cook will be out for a month so maybe February...

^^^^I would say that I'm shocked but I'm not. Could we please get rid of him for a SF that could actually start this squad?

Sad thing is the people on this board feel Cook is worth waiting for. He will hit a 3, but give up 8 points on the other end

I say keep resting all 3. The Clippers are very lucky to have a very light schedule the past week and the upcoming two weeks. None of the 3 injured players will be ready for Denver by Wednesday. Then you have Warriors Sunday which we shouldn't need them. The Heat Wednesday the 12th, we should lose either way (just being honest, but you never know). Finally the Warriors again on the on the 14th where we still shouldn't need any of them.

Sunday the 16th vs the Lakers starts a wild two weeks where the Clippers have 8 games in 14 days. Many are verse teams that having a little extra fire power could very well make the difference vs a W or an L. That should be the goal. Let all three players rest another week. Then start basketball drills next week. Get ready for some playing time in 13 days from now. Obviously we don't know the exact details of any of the three but I think with the light schedule this come back strategy would be ideal.

Last game he played, had 12 points on 5 out of 8 shooting, Cook is a great hustle player, good defender, could shoot the 3, spread the floor, plays PF/C {good back-up for Griffin & DJ}. I say he's worth it...

He gives up 8 points on the other end? That's suppose to be bad?

COOKIE can play PF as well as #5. He's been a beast recently. He can play with DJ and at least give us some scoring. Rhino is undersized. He's a huge plus. ARGUABLY we would have a better shot at winning (No pun intended)

....the Warriors are a tough match up for us....they have the best 3PT % (.401%) in the league...we need all the players we can get..lol

Dont think we should be waiting for cook. He has some real good stretches of play here and there but can be real frustrating to watch, specially since he’s a vet on such a young team

At least cook bodied d Howard. Cook is a keeper. He's getting more and more physical by the game while Kaman after all these years is still a fairy

Disagree, Cook's defense has been very surprisingly good this year.

If none of our SFs are truly consistently able to hit the 3, I say we try a lineup of EG at pg, Butler at sg, RHINO at sf(yes, he'll back down any 3 and box out plenty), BG and DJ.

At every position we'd have a rebounding advantage over 95% of the teams in the league.

Just a question, anybody know what's up with Butler?
