I organzie/throw shows for a bar called Mal's Bar near the USC/LA Trade Tech Area...the next show that im having is next month.

FYI: I threw a couple of viewing parties for the Chivas USA MLS team last year ( i used to belong to a fan group )

If anyone is interested let me know, we can make banners and decorate the bar in Clipper colors and make it the LAC home bar since its not too far from the Staples Center...

p.s I've actually watched a few LAC games at Big Wangs on 8th and Grand Smile

There's a Buffalo Wild Wings a half mile from my place in Burbank. Of course, the issue in this freakin city is where everyone is located. I have off and on transportation issues so unless it's in my general area I probably can't do it. Unless I take a bus, which I guess does have certain advantages. Especially ones that come in handy while watching a Clipper road game. Of course, walking from my place to Buffalo Wild Wings does as well.

In fact we need to make a list on here, or thread, regarding where everyone lives and what areas they could do.

So.....yeah starting Tuesday I Live in Burbank, could probably make it in areas surrounding Burbank or in Hollywood. Anyone else ideas?

I like ESPN Zone but it's pretty expensive for something we could do at a cheaper location. At least that's what I think anyways and I think a poster earlier suggested Big Wangs downtown. I'd prefer Big Wangs downtown or Hollywood over ESPN Zone.

I suggested Big Wangs earlier...its a cool spot and its not that expensive Smile

The other spot i suggested was Mal's Bar..they have a giant size projection screen for games made available when requested Smile its a good hang out spot..good beer/ usually $3-5 and the owner allows you to bring in your own food or you can also order pizza...good people there Smile

I host viewing parties in my office while I sit at the computer. It's usually a 1 man turn out, with a couple of tiny Miniature Pincher dogs sleeping on the futon behind the desk, getting startled when I swear at the computer monitor or shout obscenities when Griffin or someone else dunks.

I may be interested. I've lived back in the area for about 24 hours now and would like to do something Clipper-related. I'll see how long it may take to get a bus from Hollywood to downtown because I drink and don't want to drive there and back. I'm a possibility.

Just reiterating, if anyone ever wants to go somewhere in Burbank like Buffalo Wild Wings I'm down unless I can't make a certain night. I can walk there from my place.

Dillon's in Hollywood would also be cool. $3 pints of beer, laid back and.......good scenery....

I'll be in a road red EJ jersey (current design), might be easier to spot me since I don't see a lot of people with those. Wearing business casual underneath jersey.

I am car-less for the time being and have been staying with my gf in Hollywood so if I can grab a quick ride on the bus there and back I could maybe go downtown. As I've also mentioned a couple times I go to Dillon's on Hollywood Blvd to watch games a lot. All beers are $3 (they have like 25 of them) and it's right off the 101 like a half mile. I walk there frequently to watch games, no matter what the sport is.

SDClipper - if you're in Hollywood and want to go downtown, don't take the bus! Take the Red Line from Hollywood/Vine (diagonally opposite Dillon's) to 7th Street/Metro. Only 15 minutes and same fare as a bus.
