I don't think Curry would mind being a sixth man playing starter mins but coming off the bench like Manu

2 knock down shooters in Curry and Eric Gordon. Teams will have to play Griffin straight up or they will pay the price. I would do this trade. Kaman and Aminu and protected pick if needed.

Kaman, Bledsoe, and a first for Curry, Biedrins, and Amundson works on the NBA trade machine.

Who comes up with these proposals?

This doesn't make sense to Golden St as Kaman who is the featured player from the Clippers in this trade is not worthy as much as Curry and his potential is.

I'm not one to bash but who spurns these rumors, dreams, visions when they hold no substance???

Whatever happened to people on the forums that create these trade proposals talking about acquiring Ben Gordon, Teyshaun Prince, Richard Hamilton, etc etc ???

The threads come up, and then they disappear

I don't see the use or benefit for golden St acquiring Kaman whether its to play him or use him to trade him elsewhere when Curry's trade value is much higher.

Just wondering

Josh, before you get all negative, GS is making the trade because the combo of Ellis and Curry does not work. They have 2 great SG's splitting time at the PG spot. You basically have 2 scorers trying to be something they aren't.

Hindsight is 20/20

Who's being negative??

Please dont take my opinions out of context

I understand the GS situation, but KAMAN just doesn't make sense.

Curry has more trade value than that

If were not getting Melo or any other All-star then please go out and get Curry the guy can shoot light's out, and all this crap about him not being a true point which was the last team besides Boston that won with a True point guard (even Rondo might be a stretch at that) Same goes for the Draft u take best player available and worry about duplicating positions later.... If he outplays Baron or even Godon then so be it.... the guys can flat out Ball....

People put way too much faith in that Minnesota pick. With how well kevin love and Beasley have come along this past year, they could very well be a decent team next year, decent enough to easily be well out of reach of drafting 1st overall. If we had like Toronto or Detroits 1st that year, I'd say hold onto it.

Who knows what Golden State would want, if anything else besides Kaman. Maybe Aminu and Kaman. Maybe a future 1st and not Minnesotas pick. Curry would be a great addition to this team, and Baron would go to the bench.

problem is, what do we do about Bledsoe? To me, I'd try to include a 3rd team to try to get a SF rather than us acquiring Curry.

Ellis is the better player. He is more durable, has the toughness, and can put up more points than Curry. Curry is very fragile and is not near the defender Ellis is.

I'd take Ellis over Curry 10/10 times.

Curry is a very finesse player. Great great kid but is not better than Ellis.

Monta Ellis has missed large portions of the season twice in his five year career. Curry has missed three games in a year and a half. Durability goes to Curry.

Curry is shooting 46% and 43% from three... Along with six assists a game... He'd be a great addition to our team as a PG... This in a second year player who is going to get even better.

I like Ellis, but he's not nearly as good from three, and that would help us spread the floor more than a slasher like Ellis... Also, Ellis plays only the SG position, where we already have Gordon....

I take Curry 10/10.

We don't need Curry because has the same game of Eric Gordon, we need a good play.

Instead for Kaman i'll trade him to NYK for Eddy Curry (the next summer we must to resign DJ) and Gallinari that is an outside shooter thet we need, the trade must be completed with Rusual Butler to NIK.

the reason this most likely won't happen is simply bc teams generally look to trade outside of their division and preferably outside of their conference

Eddy Curry? over Kaman? Curry is garbage.. even with a newer cheaper contract after next season

the ideal goal if it was the Warriors would be Steph Curry and Reggie Williams

+1......Curry only takes 14.6 shots a game......Ellis takes 20.7 shots per game..Curry would be scoring as much or more if the FGA we're the same..

The Clippers need basic BB talent. We need good 3 and FT shooting and ball handling for those last 4 minutes of games. We have enough high flyers to keep the crowd from sleeping.

Word is this deal is going through shortly. Baron will be heading back to GS as well, and we'll get Biedrins and Curry. Were also sending them a future 1st round pick ( protected ) estimated in 2015.

^^^ That would be great, but I don't believe it... We had Baron and Kaman playing together last year and won 29 games... Why would GS want them? Nope... I don't believe it.

Link / source?

I don't know if this rumor has any truth to it but either way, the Clips need offensive help especially with Gordon out. Curry can provide just that and he can be deadly playing alongside Blake. If Baron and Kaman get's traded, then the youth movement is in full effect.

Whatever happens, either way the Clips need to make a move now because I don't see them winning much without EJ in the line-up.

I was jk. But that would be super if we could ship both of these turd nuggets away. Thing is, you cant put Curry on the bench, he's far more talented and a better player than Baron Davis. Thus baron, would be coming off the bench when Gordon returns, I just couldnt see it any other way.

I tire of hearing rumors, Melo, Lebron, granger, Curry etc etc etc. Our team either needs to do something or publicly state we arent interested in making a trade. All year we've been craving a potential move and weve got nothing to show for it. Trade Kaman for Igoudala already and lets be done with it.

Trade almost happened already. Why not give up this years pick + Kaman? Nobody is looking super awesome in this year's draft at all. Fact is were better off trading the pick even if it's a #1 pick we'd be stuck drafting that PG Kyrie Irvine. Thanks but no thanks we've got Baron and Bledsoe. Unless we plan on trading 1 of them, it's a useless pick. Harrison Barnes isn't playing well at all, and Sullinger from OSU is crap. #1 rule when drafting in the NBA, stay away from Ohio State players.

Igoudala is by far a better player than anyone in the draft, and more than likely will be better in the long run than any SF taken in this years draft. Our 1st + Kaman for Igoudala. Kaman gets to play with brand again, Philly has another 1st rounder, and Evan Turner can be used.

Just read a rumor that GSW may be looking to unload Curry or Ellis for a big. Kaman's name came up and was curious what people thought of the rumor.

Curry can light it up, has a high basketball IQ, but can't play D.

Don't get me started on Kaman

Warriors guard Stephen Curry was surprised to hear his name come up in trade rumors after owner Joe Lacob told the San Jose Mercury News he would be willing to break up the team's backcourt.

"It was the first time that I had my name associated with the word 'trade' in the same sentence," Curry told Yahoo! Sports. "It's a little bit of a shock; I can't lie about that. I feel like I'm working hard to get better every day and doing what they ask me to do."

Curry said he received an apologetic text message from Lacob the morning after the interview. Golden State general manager Larry Riley also called Curry, his father and his agent to calm the situation.

Lacob said this week that both Curry and Monta Ellis would be Warriors "for a very long time" and Curry agrees.

"I think optimistically about everything," he said. "I like it here. I like my teammates and everything about the Warriors organization. I can't picture being anywhere else, especially this early in my career.
