This is great news! Who cares about OJ' s personality. the guy is a stud. A lot of people complain about the possibility of having beasley come over during the off season but look at how beasley is balling now. At the end of the day, talent wins not attitude

Both Melo and OJ have attitude problems. I'd rather have Melo than OJ.

so would anyone! only problem is that melo doesnt want us haha

Mayo is a headcase. I wouldnt do this trade. He's a druggie too. He just got suspended for 10 games.

Plus Mayo and BD have an off-the-court issue.

What issue do they have?

Edit: Baron just basically called Mayo a nobody a few years ago.. hardly a legit issue man. Matt Barnes and Kobe almost got into a fist fight and do fine as teammates. Same with Artest and Kobe. Same with a lot of players.

also when cook played for orlando and took down baron a few years back and they got into it. now they're fine. couldn't find a video of it on youtube.

Repped High Quality Post

On point. And anyway, just because he was a little sore about losing his starting job to the new rook doesn't make him a bad guy. I'd be a lot more concerned about OJ if he was fine with a demotion. Just shows he believes in himself, and IMO it is BS that he got moved to the bench.

In any case, him and Gordon go back to middle school. The utmost respect between the two. Guaranteed, OJ would feel a lot better about backing a great player like Eric as opposed to 19year old X Henry...Plus it's LaLa, he gets to come home.

I agree with everything you said except LA being Mayo's home. He was here for a year. He lived all over the place before that, but mainly Ohio I think. Guy is wanderer.

OJ Mayo has been suspended 10 games without pay for violating the NBA's anti-drug rule.

He was tested positive for DHEA (Dehydroepiandrosterone)

EDIT: Just realized this was already posted.

I'd rather have Rudy Gay. Kaman for Rudy Gay

I'd do this:

Memphis Gets: Chris Kaman, Eric Bledsoe, 2011 First round draft pick

Clippers Get: OJ Mayo, Marc Gasol, Hasheem Thabust.

Teams take risk in potential chemistry killing players the payoff is larger than the risk

OJ Mayo = legit druggie player

of course i would rather have Rudy Straight for Kaman and Foye

why trade Aminu and Bledsoe? they are part of the future and if you give up on them already then its the same old Clippers.

they are dumping Mayo to shed salary for being stupid for not paying Gasol and Randolph.

a simple trade of Willie Warren, Randy Foye, and a 2nd round pick could do it. this team still has cap room

VDN works well with young guys and I think Blake wouldn't stand for any miscomings from OJ. If it took Bledsoe and Kaman for Mayo and Thabeet I would do it. I think Hashem can do well...sometimes you are just cursed with your first teem and need a new system and coach...as someone stated before ask Michael Beasley.

i would rather have the 1st round pick back for Bledsoe than Thabeet

if theres going to be a trade.. it needs to be a 3

Pincus thinks we should do Kaman+Warren for OJ, Thabust, Haddidi. Bad idea. I don't want either of those guys on this team. Thabust insulted the Clips on draft day. He should never get a chance in this organization. Haddidi, although totally not his fault, was the indirect cause of Ralph being embarrassed and suspended. Nothing against Haddidi, he didn't make a big deal out of it, but I see it as bad vibes. Leave it in the past and find another filler.

Yeah, if Roy Hibbert could become a solid NBA contributor, I don't see why Thabeet can't -- with the right coaching and in the right situation.

^^^You keep talking about my Connecticut guys... I see all of their games... I knew Thabeet wouldn't translate into a solid pro and I still don't think he will... While he's an excellent shot blocker, he's just not strong enough to be a factor in the NBA... Stronger players just move him to wherever they want him to go... He's also not much of a worker, only improving slightly during his days at OCONN.... He's a guy, like Stanley Robinson, a lot of people seemed high on for a time, but I knew wouldn't get it done...

Kemba Walker, on the other hand, is a stud... And look for Lamb, Oriaki, Napier and Roscoe Smith a few years down the line... Uconn is loaded with young talent.

Lamb especially, should become an outstanding SG... He's long and quick with a good stroke. He just needs to get an NBA body, which I think will come.

His first words in the NBA are "I'm glad the Clippers got the #1 pick so I don't have to play for them." Some punk kid who had draft status simply because of freakish height, had done absolutely nothing, and he's talking sh*t like he's Lebron.

He can rot in China with Marbury for all I care.

I would never give that guy a chance whether he has potential or not. If they have to take him to bring OJ fine, but he should spend the next year in the D-league and then be released. He should never wear a Clipper uniform. We need to have some self respect.

Thabeet is the guy that didn't want to get drafted by the Clippers. The way he's playing, I surprised we didn't! He's garbage and I don't want him on the team.

Who knows? Memphis does have a history of trading Gasols.

Gasol would only be another player we would have to resign. Do we really need to overpay 2 bigs next season? He will command as much if not more as DJ. Pass.

We need a backup big that already under contract for about 3 more years.

Mayo and thabeet + Griffin work experience+ VDN management of young players=GET IT DONE!

Doing this deal we have young players all over the place flip the minny pick for SF upgrade plug in some tough nose vets and that is a team you let develop on chemistry.
