Surprised as long as everyone wants to change our line up, why not knock on the phoenix suns door and say give us steve nash and we'll give you a "younger" baron davis and a draft pick! what's wrong with that? hell, everyone wants to improve our point guard position, and while steve nash is in his "twilight years" in the nba, could you just imagine what he could do with his ball handling skills to blake and jordan, oh me, Shocked oh my!!!

steve is old, he's probably got a year or two left. We're trying to win now, yes, but we're also trying to gear up for the long haul, so that when it's time for Griffin to enter free agency, it's a no brainer that he wants to stay with us.

I love Nash, one of my favorite players, but if we're trying to find a replacement for Baron, we have to go younger. The perfect fit? Deron Williams. He has a player option after the 2011/12 season and as of right now, he doesn't like the way things are going in Utah. I'm not sure how much he likes Sloan's system. If he's the freelance uptempo type, then playing for VDN is the perfect fit.

They will not trade Nash unless he tells them he wants to leave. I don't like the idea of trading an over the hill PG for a PG who's been over the hill, over the next hill and has already made camp. Our stars are 21years old. We need a PG who will be around for a while.

In any case, Baron seems to be good for the young bigs, there's not many guys out there I'd want to move Baron for right now.

d will would be perfect, but it would take kaman, davis and aminu and a first rd pick. they might also try to dump kirilenkos salary on us, but he is an upgrade at sf over from what we have.

Just because we think a player would fit in well with us does not mean in any way, shape, or form that his current team would entertain offers. Especially Williams.

Steve and Mascin gave Boston a dose last night, they had a meeting before the game and came out blazing.

Atlanta is the best fit for Steve.

there's absolutely no way steve nash comes to the clippers. the suns arent dealing him since they're afraid they'll anger season ticket holders and its not wise for the clippers to trade any young talent to get him.

and like heck the suns are gonna trade him for anyone not named gordon or griffin.

its all video game trade talk.

Speaking of video game trade talks, I got an interesting offer from the Suns on NBA 2K11...

kirelinko's salary isn't considered bad. it is 17mil, but its expiring. if anything, we'd have to give them bledsoe, kaman, aminu, a couple of firsts, and minnesota pick for them to even consider. PLUS they would have to dump a bad contract on us.

Why not send Baron and a pick for Chris Paul? I just figured I'd chime in with a trade that would only happen in a video game or via the ESPN trade machine.

Nash would be perfect, because he could easily feed the ball to Griffin. Think about full court inbound alley-oops!!!

No way Nash is too old for this young clipper core. Too Fast And Too Strong for Steve to keep up

Why do you guys wanna get rid of Baron?? You guys are freaking crazy.. He's the 3rd most important person on our team besides Blake Griffin and Eric Gordon...

True, he is important to our team, he is an allstar calibar player and will help Gordan develop his abilities.

I'd call him ancient history. Apples and Oranges considering the make up of this team vs. that one.

Anyway, as glorious as it was for Clips fans, the Sam Cassell era lasted all of 2 1/2 seasons and resulted in one trip into the 2nd round of the playoffs. This result is only considered successful because it happened on the worst franchise in all of sports.

I have a little bit higher hopes for Blake and EG.

Dwill is a FA in 2012 and has basically said numerous times that he wants out of Utah and out of Sloans system for a faster run and gun type of offense.. we dont need to trade anything for him.. just wait it out and play with what we have now. why wouldnt he wwant to come here in a young fast offense with Blake and EJ? Clippers have been getting national exposure on a nightly basis thanks to The Blake Show.

I say we are fine with Baron for now since we most likely are out of the playoff picture this year, and just make a strong push for DWill when he becomes a FA.

Nash is old. Baron is aging... Neither of these guys would fit into our future plans. Why bother trading one for the other?

Agreed. Having Carlos Mencia...err...Dwill would complete this team. EJ and BG would would be in their prime, and DWill would complete the cycle.

I'd rather have him than CP3. With DWill, we'd have a bigger backcourt.

I think with Williams, there is a realistic chance we get him.

CP3 is a great player but we already have our 1st and 2nd option to score. CP3 wont like being the 3rd option... Williams won't mind he seems to have a similar boomdizzle style of play (but with more energy, faster and younger)

SO JOE... i agree with you 100%
