Diaz has been playing for the Clippers D League affilliate the Anaheim Arsenal where he has hit 49% of his shots on his way to 17 points and 4 assists. He played both PG and SG. In case you missed this story, the Clippers drafted him in the second round a couple years ago out of the University of Miami. At 6'2", Guillermo Diaz has won 5 slam dunk contest he has entered and in one work out with the Suns they measure him with a lateral verticle leap of 48". Scary. He has the athletic skills and shooting skills, he just needs time on the floor to get his feet wet and find out what he can do. For a little guy, my favorite dunk is where he jumps completely over a player to slam it down. Welcome back Guillermo.

I just read that Diaz was signed to a ten-day contract. Supposedly this is partially in response to Brevin's injury. But I didn't think Diaz was really a PG. But if he's taking Frahm's spot on the roster, that's OK: a SG for a SG. Diaz is much smaller but more athletic (duh).

I hope to see him play tonight.

Diaz was really primarily a SG in college but played the PG position as their back up. At 6' 2" and with his quickness, many feel he can play both positions in the NBA. We'll see.

Guillermo Diaz could turn out to be like Leandro Barbosa.
    What do you guys think?
