Guys...lets not forget what Randy Foye did last year. He was arguably our best shooter and our most clutch player ALL season. Aside from Blake he was probably one of our main contributors

not sure you can consider Foye "arguably our best shooter" when he just shot 38.8 FG% and 32.7 3PT%....he was very good @ the FT line with 89.3% though. Gordon was our best "clutch" shooter followed by Mo per 82games.

I am not going by 82games....I am going by what I saw every game. For everytime all our other guys missed shots, or the team was constantly missing wide open shots (horribly I might add) Randy Foye it seemed would always get us out of a funk. To a point where I was surprised when he missed...

Ok...guess that's one way to look at it....just throw out the numbers and create your own reality... wink

Kaman, Aminu, Bledsoe + Minny pick for Lebron, James Jones & a 2nd rounder.

^ you might want to put that in the trade ideas topic and btw that would never happen. Plus all of that combined is more than what lebron is getting paid. Im pretty sure the Miami heat dont have any trade exceptions to take on the extra money.

it is more likely that we would trade griffin then for this trade to go down...

Yeah I know, but the majority of trades listed on this forum aren't likely at all. We do have some assets that we can move but we have to be a bit more realistic. If we get lucky by way of a lop-sided Pau Gasol type trade then great, if not I'll look forward to signing Tayshaun prince or someone like that to fill the roster.

How about Clippers getting Howard without giving away Griffin! Imagine - Blake and Dwight on one team - nobody could score inside with those two!

Howard to the Clippers

Kaman, Gomes, Warren, Minny pick to the Magic

After that we still have 5 mil to sign a SF!

I'd embrace getting Howard for that whilst also keeping Griffin AND Gordon, but it's doubtful. It'd be nuts to see those 2 in the paint but I think Dwight wouldn't want to share the spotlight with Blake inside the paint, Dwight is a guy that needs to be the head of the team, not the 2nd man or co-leader. If he goes to the Lakers, it'll be HIS team and Kobe will be the #2 guy.

If Gordon was ever brought up in any sort of trade, and it was packaged with a draft pick as tempting as the Minny pick is, + fillers or someone like Kaman, I'd want 2 top players in return that are massively consistent and proven winners. Westbrook and Durant.

Dwight is worth Minny pick + Kaman and say Aminu. Orlando has a massive team salary, Kaman can play both offense and defense. I'd actually give them DJ and Kaman + Minnesota's pick. Dwight is extremely durable.

Stay on topic or I'm splitting the thread guys. No need to run off on tangents about Dwight as a few members have mentioned.

No need to make a new thread here, with any post thats ever been on this site that is as lengthy as this one other players get mentioned and the topic starts to stray a little. Howard is getting brought up more because of the attention the Lakers got after getting pwnt in the playoffs and so many laker nut huggers praying they try to make a move for him in the media.

If Igoudala is on the block the Clippers really need to see what Philadelphia would want and just send out some feeler offers. Igoudala may not be the exact guy that some of us want on this team, or even what the front office wants, but he's a GIANT upgrade over what we do have, and thats a combo SF/PF who seems to be afraid to shoot at times, a rookie that for a few weeks looked great but then fell off the map the majority of the year, and a guy that is truly just a role player to bring in energy and defense off the bench. Gomes, Aminu, Moon in that order.

Also, what I LOVED the most about this potential news and what Olshey said is that he wants to make a move BEFORE July 1, so he wants to eat that cap space up THEN re-sign DJ to go over the cap because we can with DJ. So he wants to make a move and wants to bring in someone talented to fill that SF spot. Clearly a GM that isn't going to sit around and draft "dynamic high potential athletes" and hopes to keep his job.

For him to come out and publicly say something is really big and bold. If players like Granger, Igoudala, Gay etc. are even remotely available I think Olshey will consider it and try his damnedest to bring in someone of high value. And those 3 names aren't even the tip of the iceberg in terms of quality SF's he may be targeting out there.
