The Clippers visit a very tough team in the Hornets tonight. New Orleans just came off of a relatively easy victory over the Trail Blazers. When the Clippers play the Hornets at Staples they really played them tough until the final quarter. Tonight they really have to find a way to contain David West and lock him down. Ross might not be strong enough to guard him, so it may be up to Maggette, Mobley, or Thomas. Too bad we no longer have Patterson for this game. And of course Chris Paul will be a huge problem as well. If the guys can play good D vs. those two, and prevent open 3's, then the Clippers should have a solid chance at winning. Go Clips!

We need another public ripping of the team here!!! It seems to work well!!

Jokes aside, they may be able to sqeak out a win. As long as they play tough D and smart b-ball, I wont be dissapointed in the outcome. Let's see if they key in on defending Thornton when he's in. If so, it should give Corey & Chris plenty of turns for making the Hornets pay.

Why does Ross start? Is it to keep our bench lineup strong?

Tim Thomas needs to stop shooting right now. 1-7 isnt a good sign.

It isnt looking good, but there's a lot of game left. GO CLIPPERS!

We need another run and keep it. We we up by 1 or a but more and lost it in a matter of minutes and now down by 17. That's pretty frustrating.

The Hornets sure can hit those 3's. Well this was a tough team so not such a disappointing loss. I mean Sammy got his points as well as Mobley and Maggette. Chris didnt get as many touches as he needed but we did alright considering.

Lets hope for a win tomorrow as we should be able to beat the Grizzlies no problem.

Well New Orleans is for real. I'm happy for them, maybe they can knock off Phoenix, San Antonio or Dallas. We lost to the best team in the West at the moment. Bummer.

Al and Guillermo got to cleanup the game and made some plays. A big game by Mobley and Maggette, but the Hornets found ways to score where we couldnt. Well let's get ready for tomorrow against Memphis.
Make them look like newborn cubs instead of grizzlies.

Yup those 3 point bombs killed the Clippers after they lead 52-51. Stojakovic went nuts hitting 5 in a row there in that 3rd quarter run. Cat was hot and we got within 9 with like 2 minutes left in the 3rd, but turnovers and bad D made the lead balloon and it was pretty much over after that.... It was too bad that the Clippers forgot about Kaman in the 2nd half- he only had 7 shots the whole game. Even though the Hornets were swarming him the Clippers just stopped feeding the post.
