I know Kaman wasn't named as a starter (no surprise) but since the coaches will name another center and 2 more players regardless of position, how do you see his chances?

I think he has played well enough to make it myself and considering if he isn't named the second center, I think the other 2 choices make it even more likely he gets to go feast on that Cajun food...what say you?

I think he has a chance, but Amare Stoudamire will probably get the nod over him. I hope somehow he will get on there though- maybe if someone can't play because of injury he could get picked as an alternate.

I really l like Kaman, and hope he does make the team. But in reality, I think Stoudemire will make it.

Yes but the coach of the west will also have two more choices at ANY position aside from more center. That makes three chances for Kaman to get in. Take a look....

"In selecting the reserves, the head coaches must vote for seven players within their conference, including two guards, two forwards, a center and two players regardless of position. Coaches are not permitted to vote for players on their team. After the coaches select the reserves, if a player is unable to participate in the All-Star Game, NBA Commissioner David Stern will select a replacement."

Then, I'm sure he'll make it. (90% at least). There are some formidable opponents, but I like his chances. thanks clipper*joe~!
